By Plane
The airports you will find more convenient to reach Welcome Service Apartment are Fiumicino in Rome, for international flights- or Sant Egidio in Perugia, which welcomes connections from London, Milan and Tirana on a regular basis. The first is placed 160 kms away from the inn, while the second is much nearer, at a distance of 45 kms.
By Car
If you are driving from Sant Egidio, where Perugia airport is located, you must take road SP247-I and continue along Strada Ponte Valleceppi-Sant Egidio till road SS3BIS/ E45. Turn left into this track and take the exit to Todi and Orvieto. Afterwards, veer left into SS79BIS/SR79BIS in the direction Todi, take your right and you will arrive in Todi. Once here, go along Viale della Fabrica, turn right in Viale San Carlo and again in Via Cesia. Take your left in Via della Maleretta, your right in Piazza del Montarone and do it again in Via San Lorenzo. Finally, you will come to Via Santa Pressede, where the apartment stands on number 31. (35 minutes).
Otherwise, from Rome you must drive around 2 hours. As you leave the terminal in Fiumicino, get on highways A91 and A90 before taking road A1DIR/E35 towards Firenze. Get off at the exit for Orte and turn right into SS204 and afterwards, take SS675. Along this track, you must get off at the exit for SS3BIS/Perugia/ SS71/ Cesena and afterwards continue along road E45. Descend at the exit for Todi/San Damiano and veer left into SP378 towards "Todi/ A1/ Roma". As you arrive in Todi, in order to reach the property you have to turn left into SS79BIS/SR79BIS and right into Via Maestá dei Lombardi. Take your left in Viale dei Crocefisso and right again in Viale Angelo Cortesi. Veer right in Viale della Fabrica and follow the directions already described.
By Train
At the airport in Perugia you can take the buses that reach the train station in the centre of the city: afterwards, get on the trains that leave to Todi (1 hour journey, they usually make a stop at Perugia Porte San Giovanni). From the station, placed 5 kms from the property- hire a taxi or get on the buses that reach the main square of the town, only 180 metres from Welcome Service Apartment.
If your plane lands in Fiumicino terminal, take the express railway service that goes from the airport to Termini railway station. Once here, there are trains departing to Todi that take 2 hours, approx (making a stop first in Terni). |
