We were given a normal double room when we had booked a junior suite, this was corrected when i objected and pointed it out

The size of the rooms was pitiful, we had a junior suite for three of us, this was still too small. The bathroom was not a bathroom it was more a shower room and the type i would expect in a down market hotel, not a hotel at this price. I felt the hotel just traded on its magnificant location and view, other than this it was not worth the very high fees. The breakfast was at best, average.

If you are prepared to accept very small rooms and poor quality bathroom then the view will make up for it, otherwise I would not recommend it due to the size of the rooms and the high price charged for them

The rooms were small but wonderful! We were very pleased. They also provided us with a private balcony with a mountain view but let us see a ocean view room (the balcony was not as private) to see if we would like to change rooms!

We really enjoyed the staying there.
It was shame that they don't have a seaview room with bathtab, only shower. Actually seaview from the seaview side room was not direct. I also heard that the size of bathtab was not so big. But, as a result, it was quite small issue, then totally we enjoyed staying there.

We stayed 8 days there and the invoice which were given by them just before checking out, therefore we couldn't check carefully all of them. I just looked through and felt it looked okay, so we just believed them.
I appreciate if they could give it to us a day before checking out or in the morning on that day.

Chinqueterre, Protofino, Genoa
- there are some direct boat services from Sestri Levante and trains as well. If there are some kind of information about them and timetable, that would be quite useful.

I already told many friends including my boss that this was one of the best hotel and place in my life. I noted several things as above, but those are just trivia. The impression of the hotel were exactly as you described on the website, and their heartful hospitality was more than we expected. And foods were also nice. We are sure we would visit there next year!

They had a nice young girl taking care and played with the children i the pool area each day between 02:30 and 06:30.

I would certainly recomend the Vis a Vis to my friends and describe it as an extremly friendly, welcoming and friendly hotel whos staff are courtious and thier work of the highest standard they are a credit to the management . The hotel is very well presented and portrays a sence of exclusivity

We got the train, took ages. Would be great if there was shuttle bus. Taxi 90E which us a lot. May could have shceme for people to share taxis.

Made to feel welcome and expected,shown to room by receptionist and bags carried up within minutes.

We originally booked only B&B but we arrived at the hotel after 6pm and it was no problem for them to arrange a meal for us. The food was so good that we decided to have Half Board all week and dinner became a high point of the day as not only were we served with excellent meals but the head waiter and his staff gave us first class service, nothing was too much trouble.

When we checked out of the hotel all the staff present at or near the reception desk made a special effort to say goodbye and shake hands.

I am not sure if if the site mentioned this or not but the restaurant is something else with the most amazing views to three sides of Sestri Levante and the bays and I must re-iterate that the food was excellent as was the service which made us feel special, no matter how busy the staff were.

I would tell them that it is worth the extra twenty euros a night for a sea view, that this hotel is very good value for money and that the atmosphere is good and welcoming.There is definately a feel that this hotel is family run. One last point, because of the lay out of this hotel being on different levels it is most pleasant to spend time in and one does not feel confined in any way, it is good to have a hotel to relax in and not feel the need to be constantly out and about, very restful.

You should be more specific about the size of the rooms, they were smaller than expected. Also that famliy rooms usually dont have sea view. We felt that it was not as described.

A family place that takes care of every need for comfort that you have. Quiet and peaceful with excellent food and service. Good place for the kids with poolservice at high level.

we were given a room with no sea view and no tv in the bedroom. we complained bitterly and ended up with the room we had asked for originally after demanding to see the owner. after that they were very polite and made up for the original con by guaranteeing us the best restaurant seat available at all times. although upsetting at the time, we had areaaly good time at the hotel afterwards.

THE OWNER IS KNOWLEDGABLE, EXTREMELY HELPFUL AND PERSONAL. WE LOVED THE CHOICE OF ARTWORK AND FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS THAT DECORATED EVERY FLOOR. DELICIOUS FULL BREAKFASTS.
THE ONLY THING THAT WASN'T OUTSTANDING WAS THE INSIDE BAR AND LIMITED USE OF FACILITIES DURING A SUNDAY WEDDING.

Very small rooms and awful plastic carpet on the floor - hardly what you expect from a four star hotel at 220 euro/night. The staff was very nice and helpful though.
