Everything was so perfect that if we could think of something to improve, it would certainly spoil our stay at Villa Sant'Andrea - Taormina. Greta hotel ! Great place to stay !!! ... The superb breakfast. The outstanding dinner at Oliviero Restaurant (one of the best in town) and the pleasurable piano bar at the varanda with view to the ocean at night.

Exceedingly helpful and genuinely freindly staff who appeared to really enjoy their job... ... The most gorgeous place I have stayed- in the world! The hotel setting and Taormina was beautiful... ... My breakfast came exactly when requested and my car was at reception for me as requested- as unfortunately I was in a rush to leave checking out was quick and easy... ... unsure... ... Idillic, peaceful and lush with vegetation. Room and view were amazing. Staff were genuine and freindly and I would not hesitate to return for another stay...
Probably an excellent venue for a wedding!

Although without doubt the food was very good for dinner we would have liked a more local traditonal basic menu without the haught cuisine. We live in London and can eat fancy wherever and whenever we want. Just homemade pasta and simple fresh fish is what most people want. The food at Il porta cappucino was excellent. And i must addthat the translation of the menu into English is terrible! The choice of words is not at all what we would say in English. it made the food on offer really horrible. For instance' Scorpion Stew 'would be a joke dish served up for halloween! Also at thr Hotel, It would be so very interesting to find out more about the history of the villa and the owners. I asked many times but no one could give me any information.

The hotel arranged private pick-up at the airport for us, and even though our plane was over an hour late, we had no problem connecting with our driver. They did the same for us on the way home, and we had to leave the hotel at 4:30AM! No problem, the taxi was there early and ready for us. ... The ONLY thing we think they need to improve is the service at the 'Beach Bar' for lunch. It was way too slow for people who just want a nice quiet lunch and then back to the beach. One time we waited over 25 minutes just to be acknowledged. This was never the case at breakfast or dinner. ... Elegant, quiet, calm, serene, the feel of a private villa....

... A very cosy and special hotel, very well situated, 5mn from the cable car, 15mn to get to Taormina....just perfect...

I paid for a room w/a sea view. The view was obscured. Plumbing in shower leaked excessivly under the bathroom floor and surfaced. Nightly parking was excessive (17 euro's/night). Help was very helpful. Location & access to upper tourist area was excellant. ... Good location. Adequate accommodations.

We found the reception staff very pleasant and very accommodating. All very charming. ... We found the hotel very comfotable - the room was very good and we had absolutely no complaints about anything. ... We would advise our friends to stay at Villa Sant'Andrea if they were looking to stay on or near the beach as it is in a truly beautiful position near the sea.

There were only a handful of people staying at the hotel and we were all (I believe at the end furthest from the reception. There was a strong smell of sewage from time to time.I advised the receeption on the day we were leaving but thye did not seem surprised. ... We asked for our car to be delivered from the garage in town to the hotel at 1200 it did not arrive until 1220. A very weak excuse was given. Fortunately we had left plenty of time to get to the airport. ... Good - but get a room closer to reception to avoid the sewage smell.
