Car park instructions could be clearer on your documentation. The car park is just after a sharp bend and if you miss the turn, which we did, its awkward to turn around!
Were very grateful that our luggage was transferred up the hill in an Ape!

Remote, quiet location which suited us

Beautiful location and Villa. Very quiet and remote. No restaurants in the village so be prepared to drive. As roads are narrow and twisty we didnt travel far, particularly at night. Owner - very welcoming and allowed us to pick lemons and gave us aubergines and courgettes free of charge! Three(!) small shops in the village which have most supplies. Baia Ieranto is about 40 minutes walk over the hill - but its worth every minute. The bar owner was a great source of information and speaks English.

Initially it wasnot clear where we were to go to check in.The car parking area was clearly indicated.

Although Nerano is a little off the beaten track we loved living in a typical Italian village. The church bells ,the home made lemoncella in the village shop,the excellent facilities of Casa Villarena,the lovely pebble beach nearby at Marina Del Cantone, and the wonderful restaurants nearby made this a memorable holiday. And of course Guglielmo, the proprietor, who was always on hand ensuring our stay was enjoyable.

Directions ned to be in more detail, as does the check in proceedure we only found the property by asking a local to show us the way. Mobile phones could not get a signal so could no ring the number given.

The swimming pool is small and the owner did not like the children (ages 13 and 10) jumping in the pool, perhaps this should be stated up front so you know what to expect. The children found it curtailed their fun.

The owner is very pleasant and could usually be contact when the need arouse. The wine and olive oil made on the site is excellent and very good value for money. It is a quiet peaceful accommodation. (Apart that is from the neighbouring dog who was locked out all day and night and barked almost continuously - but not sure what owner of our villa could do about that). Perhaps a friendly work to the dog owners.

The accommodation was quiet and peaceful - however, the neighbouring accommodation had a dog who was locked out on patio day and night and seemed to bark continuously, perhaps owners of our villa could have a friendly word?? The children found the site a bit restricted not much for them to do, they are building a small play area for very young children but lack of other facilites and comments made about the pool earlier make it not ideal for children (boys especially) from say age 8 to 14.

Local charm, not too touristy, relaxing and peaceful (bar the dog). Nice split level sun terrace - very pretty around the pool area. Children need things to do. Beach short walk, nice cafes/bars etc. Beach small, no sand, limited parking availabliity. Sorrento approx 25 min drive away in car. Building work still being done on property especially round pool area. Builders/workmen always on site.

The only thing that was a bit annoying were the bells that went off from the church every half hour throughout the night. We got used to it but my husband had a hard time sleeping soundly. I would still highly recommend it.

Difficulty in getting from Sorrento to Nerano. Last bus is at about 1940. This should be made clear when booking. Also a method is needed to transport heavy luggage up and down the path from the bus stop to the villa.

The villa is lovely. Also the pool ,terrace and gardens- plenty of garden furniture too!
A well furnished villa!
A bus timetable would have been very helpful,if not necessary.Also information about the airport shuttle bus from Soerrento as there was no transfer transport as indicated on the website.

It was necessary to contact the owner on the last day and arrange an evening visit as we had to leave very early in the morning. It was extremely difficult carrying the luggage up the path.

The bus service is not very good and evening visits to Sorrento were impossible. Perhaps a rental car should be advised on the website.
