By train: From Napoli Centrale railway station take the local train called "Circumvesuviana" to Sorrento. It takes approximately one hour to reach Meta di sorrento. Exit the station and you will find Via Guglielmo Marconi straight ahead of you. Walk along it for about 50 meters and you will find Villa Pollio at number 6.
By plane: From Capodichino airport in Naples, take the "Curreri" bus to Sorrento, and get off at Meta di Sorrento, at Piazza Santa Maria del Lauro, the main square. Follow Via Sebastiano Enrico De Martino for about 50 meters and then turn right into Via Guglielmo marconi where Villa Pollio is located, at number 6.
By car: - from Reggio Calabria - Highway A3: exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Take local road 145, called "Sorrentina"; - from Bari - Highway A16: exit at Avellino and take the Avellino-Salerno road. Enter Highway A3 at Salerno and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Take the local road 145 called "Sorrentina"; - from Rome - Highway A2: cross over into Highway A3 at Naples and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the local road 145 called "Sorrentina".
Once you are on the Sorrentina road, drive on past the towns of Vico Equense and Seiano, until you reach Meta di Sorrento. You will find the city's cathedral on your right hand side. Go straight and after approximately 100 meters, turn right into Guglielmo Marconi street where you will find Villa Pollio located at number 6. |
