 In the charming and welcoming breakfast room there is a place for everybody and you can choose from a variety of biscuits, cakes and sweets, all of them home made at Villa Pane. Naturally, even the jams are home produced from the fruit organically cultivated in the orchard. AnnaMaria will surprise you also with her sweets. Breakfast is also a time for deciding what to do during the day. |
 At Villa Pane B&B you have a wide choice: you can either choose to pass the morning in absolute relax in the garden or you can take a quiet stroll among the olive trees in our countryside, or maybe go on tour to Sorrento or to the other villages of the neighborhood or even go to the beach. AnnaMaria draws up a calendar of events (and tries to keep it always updated). |
 At Villa Pane it will be very difficult, even if you book a stay of fifteen days, to eat the same thing twice. In the summer, dinner is served outside, under the stars. The service is excellent without being too formal. The kitchen team works hard to introduce you to the best products of this generous land. So you have to taste all the local traditional dishes. |
 Besides the famous bread of Campania produced from hard grain wheat, another significant product is the pasta, usually prepared manually and cut in many different shapes. And then a special mention must be made of our olive oil, perhaps the oldest and healthiest dressing; fruit of the olive tree, it was considered sacred by all the people of the Mediterranean. |
 Here on our land and all around Sorrento you will find some fantastic species of orange and lemon trees, just as many qualities of citrus fruit are cultivated on our farm. From Villa Pane you can easily reach the most charming places of Italy, such as Vesuvio, the imposing volcano that is surrounded by full, flourishing vegetation, the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, with their wonderful beaches and captivating fisherman's villages.
The coastline boasts some famous places, full of charm, such as Positano, the setting of the "summer" Dolce Vita in the 1960s, Ravello, a place loved by artists and intellectuals such as Greta Garbo and Richard Wagner, Vietri and many others. The most famous islands are Ischia, which has one of the greatest number of thermal spas in the world and Capri with its three stacks and timeless charm. In addition to the sea and these romantic towns, we also suggest you spend some time visiting, for example, the Punta Campanella Nature Reserve, in the Bay of Ieranto and the famous Emerald Grotto.
A visit to the ancient towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum, where important monuments and Roman temples were discovered after decades of digs, is a must for archeology lovers. One also has to visit Naples in order to understand the true essence of this region. Naples is a lively, friendly, sunny city, full of artistic and cultural interest with its theaters and museums, its monuments and its palaces, its typical alleys and open-air coffee shops in the squares. Naples is the place that sums up all the region's culture and history, living proof of the populations that ruled this area over the centuries, from the Anjou dynasty to the Bourbons, with the Aragons somewhere in between. |
