The villa was lovely and the staff amazingly friendly and helpful. My only comment was that the walk into the centre of Sorrento was more then the 'several minutes' quoted on the website.

Lovely place to stay if you are looking to get away from the bussle of Sorrento in the height of the season. The setting and views are fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Villa Oriana was by far the best part of our trip to Italy. Pasquale and Maria went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Homemade breakfast was fantastic!

Due to a conflict in construction, the innkeepers arranged for a lovely room at a nearby hotel, but we still breakfasted at the inn. And, they made excellent travel arrangements for us to and from the Naples train station. Their gracious manner and amazing breakfasts were true highlights of our visit to Italy. We not only recommend the Villa Oriana B&B, we would willingly stay their again.

Our photos are one way of showing our friends this very special inn. The other best statement is to recommend them staying there on their next visit to the Sorrento area. It's worth a stop just to stay at the Villa Oriana.

Since we took a taxi to Villa Oriana we didn't need directions.

We did not get the room we had reserved on the web-site which at first did not bother us until we discovered it was the smallest room and we were paying the same price as the other rooms. We mentioned this at check out time and were given a discount of 25 euro. Also the bathroom was not very clean. There was quite-a-bit of hair on the floor from the previous people that never was cleaned up the three days we were there. Also, the glass on the side of the shower was never cleaned.

Maria, the owner of the villa was a great hostess. She was very friendly and couldn't be nicer. Also, the breakfast was the best we had the whole three weeks we stayed in Italy. It was absolutely fantastic! Fit for a king (or Pope)

Very nice place just make sure you're room is not on the ground floor. The room we had was very, very small.....not what we expected. Probably fine for one person.

My husband and I spent 5 days at the Villa Oriana. By the time we left, we felt as if we had an Italian family. Maria and Pasquale could not have been any more gracious. The accomodations were immaculate, the location was perect for exploring the Amalfi coast, Capri, Naples and Pompeii. A wonderful breakfast was provided each morning. These are people who take great pride in taking excellent care of their guests.

When turning left after the Agip gas station, it would be helpful if the Villa Oriana had a sign OR the directions should include a note to turn right at the top of the hill and follow the signs for the other motels.

My husband, son and I arrived after a long, tiring journey from the US. We rang the bell and were greeted by Maria and Pasquale. They showed us around Villa Oriana, told us about breakfast and gave us cold, homemade lemonade. Absolutely wonderful greeting!

Pasquale, Maria and the staff made our visit to Sorrento absolutely fabulous! We were treated like family with warmth and kindness. The meals were outstanding.
The rooms were divine with incredible size, cleanliness and comfort. We felt like we were in 5-star accommodations! We had two rooms for 5 nights for the 3 of us. We would go back and stay again.
This was our 4th visit to Italy. We've also been all over the world. This was the best place we have ever stayed anywhere.
Please, please make sure it doesn't change!

the only problem was that we expected to pay with our credit card. We didn't have a personal check. However, Pasquale asked us to mail him a check upon our return to the US. We mailed it on Tuesday, 2 June when we were back from Rome and London.
We appreciated his trust in us. (please ask Pasquale to send us an email when he receives our check).

Two nights during our stay, Pasquale and friends offered a fabulous dinner for us to purchase. The food was incredibly delicious and tremendous fun with all the folks there.

We have already been recommending Villa Oriana to all of our friends! We mostly talk about the warmth and kindness of Maria and Pasquale, the spacious rooms, the cleanliness and the views of Mt. Vesuvius.
