Villa Monica is located on the hills of Sorrento only 4 km far from the historical centre. The property overlooks one of the most beautiful views of Italy: the Sorrentine coast and the Bay of Naples with imposing Vesuvius and, when the sky is clear, the islands of Procida and Ischia.
Good to know: the property is reached via a winding and steep track. Last 300 mt are private therefore it is important that you contact us to handle your check-in. |

From Naples Railway Station:
An hour long rail journey from the Circumvesuviana station "Napoli Centrale" or "Piazza Garibaldi". Catch the train you find on the lower floor, check for the line "Napoli-Sorrento". Once you get to Sorrento we will pick you up at the main Circumvesuviana station, but you have to tell us your arrival time in Sorrento (just give us a ring 1 hour before).
From Naples Airport:
If you are landing in Naples at Capodichino airport, the easiest and most comfortable way to reach Sorrento is the "CURRERI" bus line, getting off at Piazza Tasso. Just let us know your arrival time at Piazza Tasso and we will be there to pick you up (give us a ring 1 hour before). From the airport you can also get the ANM bus to Piazza Garibaldi rail station. From the rail station reach Sorrento by Circumvesuviana.
By Car:
Any direction you are coming from follow the A3 Napoli- Salerno motorway. Look for the sign Salerno/Reggio Calabria- Penisola Sorrentina as far as Castellamare di Stabia exit. After that drive along the SS145 to Sorrento. Drive past the towns Meta, Piano di Sorrento and S. Agnello as far as Sorrento. Drive along "Corso Italia" until you arrive at Tasso Square (notice flags on your left hand side). Once arrived at Tasso Square you'll find a small roundabout, turn left and go straight. After few meters you'll pass under a bridge, drive ahead (see a parking on your left hand side) and turn left (the street gets narrow), at the fork take the road to the right. From now on the street (via Casarlano) will bend several times going uphill. Pass the church (on your right hand side) and continue along the road until you reach two pillars of a portico. Pass through them and continue along the road, after about 300 Mt you will come across a private lane with a small barrier on your left hand side. It is only half barrier and there is enough space for a car so go through it and drive uphill, after about 200 Mt you will find Villa Monica on your left hand side. |
