Profile |
Villa Giulia, is situated below the beautiful Mountain,”Monte Qualandro”, which is well worth a visit to see the important historical Castle and the unforgettable views. The “Trasimeno Lake" with its beautiful islands can be seen from the front of the Villa. The two buildings, originally old farmhouses mainly used for olive-pressing during the 18th century, have been recently renovated maintaining the original aesthetic and architectonic characteristics. The sandstone of the buildings are in harmony with the interiors which are characterised by traditional floors in “cotto” , open fire places, arches and wooden beam ceilings on the upper floors. |
