Profile |
"Villa Giannina" is located in a panoramic position, on the major road that connects Taormina to Castelmola. The house was built in the 50s and has strong rock walls, obtained from the mountain excavation, which you can admire from the street. You can reach the city centre and the principal historic Taormina monuments within a short and pleasant walk. |
Taormina is very famous, for its beauty, its views, its cultural life and all the past well-known memories. Its tourist development began one century and half ago, when the great travellers, like Admiral Nelson's niece, Lady Bridport, Wolfgang Goethe, Guy de Maupassant and Otto Geleng, made its beauty and history well-known all over Europe. Later, a group of wealthy English merchant families moved to Taormina. They built the Anglican Church. |
Taormina is at the centre of several Sicilian locations: Mount Etna, Siracusa, Palermo, Eolian Islands, Piazza Armerina, Noto, Gole Alcantara. So tourists can choose between many naturalistic itineraries, wine-gastronomic and historic sites. Our B&B can help you organising all these excursions and offers you a warm welcome in order to spend an artistic, cultural and natural holiday. |
