My wife and I were both charmed by the room and the friendliness of the staff. We would definitely return to stay there again. Also, we would like to say that Italyby (and Worldby) are very valuable Web sites. We only hope that more hotels can be added.

While the Web site mentioned that the hotel served breakfast, the one offered at Villa Franceschi is a full breakfast rather than the usual coffee and rolls that are offered at most Italian hotels.

A lovely hotel just across the street from the Brenta Canal with spacious rooms in an elegant villa. It is very quiet with a sculpture garden at the back. An idyllic retreat.

The hotel rooms, grounds were charming. We loved hearing the church bells outside our windows in the morning. The dining area was lovely. We would make a point of staying here again should we return to the Venice area.

The room was on the 1st floor and noise from the room above was very noticeable.
Staff was most friendly and helpful with one exception - the breakfast server on the last morning left much to be desired.
The hotel was nice but the general surroundings were rundown and fairly depressing.

The entire hotel, with the exception of our room, was taken by one business group for two of the three days of our stay. I believe we sholuld have been told of this in advance. We would have made other arrangements.
