 The hotel boasts 45 elegantly decorated bedrooms, all of which have a terrace overlooking the lake. The soft carpets, the silk fabrics, the precious hangings and the attention given to even the smallest detail create a warm and welcoming ambient. The hotel features 43 classic rooms, one junior suite and a special room called "Garibaldi". The Junior Suite has a large balcony which is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and colours of lake Como. |
 The furniture preserves an 18th century charm.
The Garibaldi bedroom is the most original bedroom in the hotel and has a particular history. In 1860 the Marquis Raimondi gave the villa to his 18-year-old daughter on the occasion of her marriage to General Garibaldi. |
 However the wedding lasted only a few hours, in fact the hero of two worlds found out about some shady episodes from his young wife's past and he abandoned her straight away. The bedroom is elegantly furnished with antique furniture, silk, brocade and velvet and it recreates an 19th Century atmosphere. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, colour satellite TV, pay TV, mini-bar, direct dialling telephone, hairdryer and safe deposit box. |
