The owners, a young couple, were extremely helpful and friendly - especially the woman, who spoke English fairly well. The setting was absolutely beautiful: off on a quiet, side street, about a 10 minute walk down to the main square, with wonderful restuarantsts and the beaches just across the street from there. My husband and I caught a morning train down to Vernazza (just about a 15 minute ride) and hiked to Monterosso along the Cinque Terre towns and beautiful Ligurian Sea. It was our favorite day in our 5 weeks!

Quiet, clean, wonderful beaches and a great location. It's also very easy to get the train and take the short ride back to the busy Cinque Terre.

The rooms although small were very nice, in a quiet area very close to the cemter of town.

The town of Lavanga is a very nice area that is not populated by the usual toursit traffic so it has retained much of it's charm.

The location of the Hotel is harder to find than the web-site indicates. More exact directions would be helpful, as the hotel is located in an out of the say location.

Very friendly, family run inn. The owner operators were very helpful with local information, including train schedules and suggestions for evening dinning.

The only thing which we were a little bit surprised was the size of the village. We expected a small nice and calm town, but it wasn´t like that. This could be described a little bit more clear. But it is also our own fault that we wasn´t informed enough.

The lobby is many stairs above the street and our room was in the second floor and no elevator avaiable. I think this should be informed.
