| Lavagna is one of the most caratheristic town in "Golfo del Tigullio". Its historic centre is the one typical of Liguria with pastel coloured houses on narrow streeets (caruggi) , old churches painted by white of marble and black of ardesia. On the 14th of August, every year, in a triumph of colours, ancient customs and ancient music, "la Torta dei Fieschi" celebrates the wedding feast of Bianca De Bianchi and conte Opizzo of family Fieschi, the noble family who ruled in the history of Lavagna and Genova's Republic. |
