I've used Villa Edy on and off over the last 25 years and each time I stay there I appreciate the welcoming atmosphere even more. The unpretentious and easy going style the family have developed masks the hard work put in to maintain the quality of care taken to make your holiday chilled and relaxing.

The only negative was that the hotel was quite a distance to Tremezzo proper (20 min walk). You just couldn't 'pop' out to a shop for something.
Though the pool was not ready till our second last day everything else was very good. Very relaxing place.

Lake Como and Hotel Villa Edy are very nice. The hotel has good facilities and is very clean and comfortable. The owners picked us up and dropped us back at the ferry terminal which was of great assistance. Except for the distance to Tremezzo proper and ferry I would certainly look at staying there again.

We arrived late and the receptionist was very helpful in telephoning a local restaurant to ensure the kitchen would stay open.

When booking we were not given an option to have a balcony and did expect one.
Room was small but clean and comfortable

Our stay at the hotel would have been perfect if we had had a balcony overlooking Lake Como. we would have paid extra if we were given the option.

To get the Hotel you must walk up a long hill which would be difficult for less mobile people. I thought the hotel was on the front , not set back.

Good value for money but make sure you ask for a balcony overlooking the lake.

It is a bit too far oustide of the town if you do not have a car, in particular, as it is set on a hill.

It is an expensive area, thus compared to other hotels it is reasonably priced. The only restaurant near by that served hot food was expensive. The food at the hotel was excellent value but limited choice and snack food only.

-relaxed atmosphere, people willing to meet and talk around the pool or on the verandah. Nice for small families. Not much to do in the immediate area.
