Absolutely wonderful. The hotel was spotless. The location superb (one block from Piazza Tasso). The staff bent over backwards to help (especially Simonetta).

Would recommend the Villa di Sorrento to all travelers.

No 'surprises' on the bill. We paid exactly for what we agreed to. We even used the in-room phone to use our calling cards to call the US. We did not get charged a penny for the usage.

Ask for room 41 - it has a wonderful balcony overlooking Piazza Tasso.

Warm, friendly, down-to-earth. Not posh, but very clean and comfortable.

Poor breakfast. Rooms tidy and clean.

Very central. Very close to the marketplace. Good noise- absorbing windows. Nearby car- parking facility. Less walking required.

Exact location of property could have been better. 'Close to P Tasso' is not too descriptive. We were very lucky to have our bus from Naples airport go past the hotel, otherwise we would not have been able to find it easily.

The breakfast choices were diverse but for Italy, there could have been some additional fresh choices for the price. For example, a hotel in which we stayed in Rome supplied fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, prociutto, prunes in juice, hard boiled eggs, etc.in addition to the usual fare.

An excellent location, just off the main square and close to train or boat transportation, yet removed from the noise and with quiet rooms. Very straight forward services; no frills but all the basics were well taken care of.

the receptionist either would not or could not explain to us where we could park our car. we ended up driving all over looking for parking on our own and leaving the car at the station for E25/day - much more than the website said we'd be have to pay.

there was a smell of sewer gas near the elevator; otherwise it was a very pleasant stay.

I requested a garden view and was told that was reserved for us. However, when we checked in there were no garden views available so we had a room overlooking the very busy, loud street.

The hotel was in a great location for seeing Sorrento. It was very centrally located. The rooms were very nice and clean.

We had a confirmation for a room on the top floor with a terrace. When we arrived, we were told that room was not available. We showed them a copy of our confirmation and they said that from the time we made our reservation and by the time we confirmed, the room had been taken. We stayed at this hotel before in the room with the terrace so we were disappointed when it was not available this time. I think when you receive a confirmation that you should get the room that was confirmed.

At times there was no one at the front desk to give us our key or answer questions. The brekfast staff was not particularily friendly.

Good location close to central area, bus,ferry, and train station. Good sound proof windows. Could use a more attentive staff.
