During our recent trip to Italy we stayed at a number of very good 4& 5 star hotels
this was the best we stayed at from both the property and the sensational staff.

Villa de Sogno is like a dream from the moment you enter the property.The staff meet your every need and ensure every guest feels special.
If you want to go some where special the is quite and intermiate then Villa de Sogno is my first choice.

Stunningly beautiful, peaceful and luxurious. Good food with excellent service. The only criticism is the unreasonable price of drinks, especially local wine.

The best hotel that I know - and I have stayed in a great many for both business and pleasure. The service is very efficient, but friendly and unintrusive and they really do make an effort to ensure that everything is just right.

The directions could be clearer - the map provided on your web site doesn't really give enough information when driving. It should say the name of that section of the Gardona Riviera, and tell you that the hotel is on your left/right high up above the road. We missed the entrance, and that road is very difficult to turn around in. The initial impression of the hotel is superb. When we arrived, the receptionist was a man who was quite abrupt. He gave us our key and asked for our passports but wasn't extremely 'welcoming'. However, we had an absolutely delightful and friendy bell boy who took us to our room, explained where the dining room, bar etc were, which made up for the slightly 'grumpy' reception!

The American Bar staff were exceptional as were the service staff in the wonderful restaurant. The dining room Maitre d' was outstanding and we had one of the most memorable dinners we've ever had, on our first night. The terrace is stunning, just as depicted in the website, and the breakfast buffet excellent. We loved sitting by the pool - but unfortunately it was absolutely freezing, so we couldn't swim. We did however enjoy the gardens and surroundings immensly.

On check out our receptionist was a lady who was delightful. Staff were excellent throughout our stay. You really have a wonderful group of employees at this hotel. Perhaps that's why the initial meeting with the male receptionist was worth mentioning, as we felt he was NOT quite up to the standard of everyone else we encountered in the hotel. First impressions are so important.

Definitely need to provide clearer directions from the road etc., as mentioned previously. Some landmarks to look out for before the turn into the driveway would be a good idea.
You might want to talk more about the excellent restaurant and impressive wine cellar.

We have visited Italy many times, and this was one of the most beautiful, peaceful and blissful place we've stayed so far! A perfect place for a honeymoon, anniversary or special celebration. Absolutely fantastic. A must if you are considering Lago di Garda.

We were expecting a room with a terrace and a beautiful lake view. This is what we had paid for.
We were very disappointed when we first saw our room to find the terrace but no lake view due to two enormous pine trees blocking the view of the lake.
We returned to reception to express our disatisfaction. After a short wait our room was fortunately changed for one which we were very satisfied with.

We were sorry that the pool was not heated.
It was the first time we have not been able to swim in the pool of a hotel of that standard.

It was a really magnificent hotel.
The views out across the lake were spectacular.
The restaurant and bar staff were very attentive and extremely friendly at all times.
The hotel was quiet, elegant and with very few children.
It is definitely a hotel we will be returning to one day soon.
