Due to transportation delays we arrived at 10:00 pm not having had dinner. The staff prepared a wonderful meal for us out on the terrace overlooking the ocean. After an absolutely miserableday traveling the staff at Hotel Bellavista made our arrival fantastic! ... Although only a twostar hotel, the service was five star!!! ... We spent three weeks in Italy, only two days at the Bellavista - it was one of the best both in terms of its accomodations and value. Our room price included breakfast and dinner!!! ... They have their own beautifulcove for swimming and can provide a private boat for excursions - again a fantastic place!!! ... See above

Locating the hotel on arrival by car was a little difficult due to the nature of the narrow winding road, mentioning the prominent church right next door to the access stairway would be a good idea. ... Familr room was alittle cramped, otherwise fine. ... No complaints. ... Long, steep climb up and down steps to reach the beach, could be a problem for older people etc. Wowever same for all accommodation in the area so not really a complaint. ... Hillside Villa with great ocean views in a picturesque setting.

We have had a nice room with a spacious terrace with a wonderful sea-view. The only problem we had, was that the very small parking-place was complete, when we arrived and it was quite difficult to find a place for our car. Even later, when our car was on the privat parking of the hotel, it was not easy to leave, because other cars had to be moved. ... We had to pay cash. ... Really nice, we would choose it again.

the reason for receiving another accomodation could be that we have been one day late ... it was very good food made by family being the owner of the hotel; the hotel has the so called 'atmosphere' as the small, private and not modern one ... problems with credit card acceptance but solved due to the big help of the hotel staff ... you should inform that to go to the sea from there you have to go through around 400 steps of stairs - which on one side is healthy but for some people it can make a problem you should inform that there can be big parking problems ... good family owned place having atmosphere like at home with good food and with kind people

We stopped at a local business upon arriving in Praiano and they called ahead for us and described where the hotel was located. There was someone waiting on the street for us and he helped us with our bags and to find a parking place as the hotel does not provide parking. It went quite well as I know the Amalfitana road can be quite crazy. ... No problems. We did it the night before. Mornings may be a bit slow as we obsereved a few other guests checking out on previous mornings so we decided to set it up in advance since we were trying to get an early start. ... Praiano is, in my opinion, the best location on the Amalfi coast. It is a bit smaller than Positano or Amalfi. It is centrally located and still has a nice local feeling.

This summer was rather hot and we longed for an air condition! ... A beautiful place to relax. In the evening there was served best italian cuisine.

It was surprising that we had to go nearly 90 steps down to get to the hotel. This was not mentioned anywhere. ... As stated before: The steps which have to be climbed each day. ... First the location of the hotel (Praiano) is a wonderful starting point for trips along the Amalfi coast, secondly the view out of the balcony is marvelous. Would go back again sometimes.

Clear facts, no manipulated pictures ... a) The service of the luggage support for the guests should be worked on. The house is several stairs to walk from the main road away. As it is a small alley to walk down, it is very hard to carry down the luggage by hand b) The rooms should be equipped with Anti-Moskito-Plug-Ins in general. We received it 2 days befor we left. There are lots of moskitos and we had moskito bite like crazy ... Nice beautiful located Hotel, beautiful view on the sea from terrace as from the room.

very welcoming, offered us drinks etc, very nice. ... amazing stay, very nice family run business. had boat services to Capri for the day etc, it was fantastic, a highlight for our italy trip. ... one problem with eftpos machine, but nothing major ... family run business, very friendly, private rocks for swimming and boat service to Capri. ... Excellant, i would rank it higher than 2 star

It is a long walk up/down stairs from the street to the hotel front door. ... Mario, the owner/manager was very hospitable. ... Rooms have beautiful views from the balcony. Staff is very hospitable, but English is limited.
