We were collected from the Airport by a taxi which was organised for us. On arrival at the apartment we were greeted by a woman who showed us around the apartment and was very helpful. Our breakfast was provided for the first morning.

Everything went according to plan. The airport was a short 15 min taxi journey. The taxi rank is located within 5 minutes walk of the apartments.

You should mention that the apartments are very tastefully furnished with antique furniture and maybe include more photographs of the Maggiore apartment.

I would definitley recommend the apartment that we stayed in as it was so spacious and the facilites were very adequate and ensured that we had a very comfortable stay.

The only dissapointing aspect was the size of the shower enclosure access,a sideways entry for the average lady !

Negotiating Bologna by car is not easy but Ernesto had done a great job of giving us directions

We were lax and late checking out, but had been there for 5 weeks (much longer than most guests) so we didn't think the timing was too critical; as it turned out we were still packing when the next guest arrived; though the contract did say noon checkout, it would have been good to be told the next tenant was going to be there quite soon.

Free high speed internet was available in the apartment and very, very useful; I believe the web site says no internet is available. Also there was both a bath and a shower, many places have only one or the other - this was nice; also there was a washing machine, which was great. We had also brought our dog and was very happy their.

Great location, great value; bedroom was not ideal due to the low ceiling; tower room was attractive but not very useful due to the akwardness of getting to it; also the apartment was noisey on Fri & Sat night due to students, though the bedroom was quiet. Overall we loved it.

The directions regarding pick up of the key turned out not to be accurate. We were told that someone would be there UNTIL 3pm. My daughter arrived to pick up the key at 2:30, but no one was there and no one answered the door. We arrived around 3:30 and for awhile thought we could not get into the apartment at all. Within another 15 minutes, someone with a key did appear. Aside from that scary beginning, everything else was excellent. The apartment was even better than it looked on the website, and everything else was exactly as advertised. We could not have been happier with our stay in Bologna, and we will recommend your site and your company to everyone we can.

Two many emails came from too many different people at both Apartment Views of Italy and Worldby.com. All those emails made me suspicious. One contact is enough, even if that contact sends more than one email.

We requested transport to and from the airport in advance. This was provided exactly as requested - very happy with the service.
No-one had told us which door gave access to our apartment - we only knew it was on the 4th floor. Fortunately we were able to guess correctly from the key.

Delighted with the apartment - a lovely place to stay in a beautiful city. The apartment was well-eqipped to a high standard. The location was excellent - close to the centre of the medieval heart of Bologna. There was plenty of useful information.

Views of Italy is deep in the center of the old part of Bologna. That is good since it is so close to the sites of interest in the city. It is bad because it is so diffucult to navigate the old, extremely narrow, crowded streets in that part of the city. One-way streets and controlled access (retractable bollards) add to the complication. We did find the apartment in spite of those difficulties. Ernesto did provide his cell phone number. Calling him helped us find our way. This is based on our experience driving a car to the apartment.

The bedroom was a tight squeeze, especially for my six foot one inch tall husband. However, it was adequate for our needs. More drawer or shelf space for unpacked clothing would be nice.

Can be a bit noisy early in the morning when nearby shops stock up.
This did not spoil our stay in any way, we all had a great time and would recommend this appartment.

Extremely difficult to find and nearby garage parking, although nearby, was not open on arrival.

The details are very honest and thorough.
One suggestion: the website states that there is no (useable) internet connection in the apartment. This is true but perhaps sounds unduly negative to potential clients.
If this were my own website I would also stat that there are at least 4 good internet cafes within 100-200 metres which offer cheap and friendly internet/email connection. Very useful for researching times of trains, art galleries and museums, theatres etc!

Franca, the lady who met me, was very pleasant and helpful.
Sally and David at Views of Italy were very cooperative in answering the questions I had before I reserved the apartments and in providing me with all needed information. (Feel free to give them a copy of this survey.)

The apartments were wonderful. The tower room in the Tower Apartment had a magnificant view. In summer, the air conditioning in the Tower Apartment was much appreciated. The bedroom in the Opera Apartment was large and very comfortable.

Everything was prepaid. There wasn't really a 'check out;' we just left the apartment. I spoke with Ernesto Pinto after we left, and he was very cooperative.

Very comfortable apartments. Great central location - convenient yet private. However, the local church bells are a little noisy. The five floor walk-up to the Tower Apartment will help you work off the pasta and other good Bolognese food.

The buzzer we were told to ring on arrival wasn't the correct one for our room, which caused a bit of a problem, especially as we arrived quite late in the evening (I think we disturbed another guest, or resident of the apartment building). Fortunately they let us in and we managed to sort things out.

When we arrived the advertised stereo was not in the apartment, and it took almost 2 days for it to be provided. This was disappointing as we paid a lot, and we had brought music with us to enjoy while we relaxed over the 4 days we were there. Also we couldn't get the dishwasher to work at all.
