My only comment would be that the hotel provides bigger bath towels. Other than that the hotel was lovely, nicely decorated spacious and the staff 'Gippy and his girlfriend' were both lovely people both polite and always very helpful. If there was anything you needed Gippy (Giuseppe) would always help you get it. ... If you want somewhere semi quiet with excellent views and don't mind the walk down to the beach, close to some of the cheapest restaurants in Positano, then this is the ideal place for you. The hotel staff were always very helpful and all too happy to please. The rooms were clean and the breakfast nice, basic but enough. If you are expecting a slap up breakfast then this isn't the place for you, the breakfast was basic:- Croissant, slices of fresh bread with butter and jam and also Gippy's mothers homemade marmalade, cake along with juice and your choice of hot drink either tea or coffee. You can ask for a room with a cooker so you could supply your own food for breakfast. In all I would definitely rate this hotel.

The web ad was somewhat deceiving. The rooms were spacious but very damp and cool. In addition the beds were old and damp. The dampness had more to do with the time of year and the fact that the gas in Positano is turned off at the beginning of April. The towels were of inferior quality and were not changed daily. We actually had to buy our own. ... Great location, great view and service. However, it is definately low end.
