By Plane:
The nearest airport is Napoli Capodichino. From there, we can arrange a taxi service for you, at an extra charge or you can take the bus leaving to Sorrento. From Sorrento, take the bus to Positano-Amalfi and get off at Positano.
By Train:
If you arrive at Napoli station, you can take the local train "Circumvesuviana", leaving at Sorrento. From Sorrento, take the bus to Positano-Amalfi and get off at Positano.
By Car:
Directions from Naples to Positano-
Take the motorway to Salerno (A3), exit at Castellammare di Stabia (the exit after Pompei). Follow the signs to Sorrento and when you come to Meta di Sorrento, follow the signs to Positano (do not go into Sorrento).
Directions from Rome to Positano-
Take the Highway "A1" and drive in the direction to Naples. After passing the Caserta Sud exit (do not leave the Highway), take the green sign for Salerno "A3". Take particular care, not to take the Salerno "A30" and do not take the turn which goes into Naples Centre. Follow this Highway and look for the sign "Salerno A3" - Penisola Sorrentina - Costiera Amalfitana. Pass through the Toll Gate, exit and then leave the Highway and exit at Castellammare di Stabia.
From Castellammare di Stabia follow road signs for Sorrento and than for Positano.
Direction from Positano-
Once arrived in Positano follow direction for "Grotta di Fornillo", from here you will find a stairs surrounded with plants to the beach. After 30 steps you will find Venus Inn. As Venus Inn is located in a pedastrian area you need to park your car in public car parking. |
