 The Hotel Vello d'Oro, a modern and functional 3-star hotel, is just in the heart of the historic town centre of Taormina, in a quiet and peaceful location. Most of our rooms have terrace or balcony with a spectacular view over the sea! |
 Former site of the "Antica Scuola di Maestri Ceramisti", in the forefront of the research of new refined shades of colours, which evidence can still be found inside the property, the building was transformed into a hotel at the end of the 50s'. |
 The decor of furnishings give the hotel an atmosphere of refined originality, testified by several ceramic pieces dating back to the school of Master "G. Cuscona", who will later became the first owner of the building together with his Danish wife, Mrs Jensen. |
 Nowadays, the hotel still retains the original features, splendour and ancient ceramic pieces, mixed with modern hi-tech furnishings. The hotel is located at the beginning of Via Fazzello, which leads to Porta Catania and dominates roofs, luxury houses, shops, cafes and restaurants of the historic centre. |
 We can offer 53 different bed rooms and all the facilities our guests might need. The hotel consists of five floors. Bedrooms are located on the second, the third and the fourth floor. On the first floor there are: the breakfast and the living room, and the exit to the main street "Corso Umberto". |
 On the fifth floor guests can access the panoramic terrace equipped with Bar/Restaurant with unforgettable views: at our hotel guests can enjoy stunning views of the green Monte Tauro and the Greek Theatre on one side, the blue Mediterranean Sea of Naxos bay and the Etna "Mountain" on the other side. |
