Amalfi drive: the most spectacular section is between Amalfi and Positano - Praiano approximately 40 km. The road is just two cars wide in many sections, so take care. Passengers may relax and be spellbound. It's so glorious that you will want to make the journey in the opposite direction. |

Coming from the North by car:
From Rome reach the main road "Al" direction south (Napoli) and, after leaving Napoli, take the main road "A3" to Napoli - Salerno (Not Tangenziale Napoli). At Castellammare di Stabia, take the road to Sorrento and at Meta di Sorrento take the road to Positano - Praiano. Look for the Grand Hotel Tritone on your right. You will oniy see the parking area from the road. Pull your car in and, as your look at the car park, on the left, you will see the entrance of the Grand Hotel Tritone.
Important: Before Naples, in Caserta, there are directional signboards for the Amalfi Coastline; we don't recommend this route, as it is more kilometers. During the holidays, to avoid heavy traffic, after some kilometers from the exit of the highway of Castellammare of Stabia, immediately after a tunnel, tum to the right for Gragnano and follow the directional signboards for Agerola-Amalfi-Praiano. From Castellammare di Stabia to Praiano, either route takes around an hour.
Coming from the South:
You must exit "A3" at "Vietri sul Mare" and follow the sign for route S.S. 163 Amalfitana, Cetara-Maiori-Minori-Amalfi-Praiano.

By train: The Central Station of Salerno. Departures to Grand Hotel Tritone with SITA bus; terminal distance from the station, 100 m.
