"Le Trecento Fronde" is a small organic farm producing a fine organic extra-virgin oil. The territory of the hills of Brindisi is characterized by the excellent quality of a kind of olive oil which, in 1996, has been rewarded with the D.O.P (denomination of protected origin).
 
Therefore to this important product has been dedicated an enogastronomic and cultural itinerary which crosses farms and oil mills in  the towns of Ceglie Messapica, Ostuni, Fasano, Cisternino, Carovigno, San Vito dei Normanni, San Michele Salentino, Villa Castelli. A bottle of oil is always available for our guests as the same as our delicious jams, home produced from the fruit organically cultivated. You will find also bycicles and special itineraries to ride around.

A few km away there are horse ride facilities, swimming pool, supermarkets and some of the best restaurants in Apulia. "Le Trecento Fronde "has a strategic position to visit some of the most fascinating villages in the area. Ceglie Messapica (4 km) has Messapian origins as it is proved by many archaeological foundings dating back to the IV century B.C. which is possible to see at thr archaeological Museum. The countryside is filled with big farmhouse called "masserie" which are usually fortified, rural chapels, old sheeps- tracks, small canyons, all spread among large areas of olive-groves which alternates to wineyards, sowing fields,pastures and woods of Mediterranean bush. The territory has an important role for the activities working in the production of food and for the restaurants. The old town is well worth a visit especially to seek out one of the first-class restaurants hiding away in its tiny streets. Market day is Saturday and this is a must! Going toward the sea you will find Ostuni (8 km) known as the white city because of its whitewashed houses .Here you will find entertainment, restaurants and bars in the old town and outdoor concerts on summer evenings. There is an antique market on the second Sunday of every month. Another very interesting town is Martina Franca (15 km) a beautiful baroque city plenty of lovely shops,restaurants and bars. Martina Franca is very famous also for its International "Festival della Valle d'Itria" that always begins the second Monday of July. Somewhere you have to visit Alberobello at least once.The old town is almost entirely trulli and quit spectacular. Plenty of restaurants and wonderful little shops full of handicrafts.Grottaglie (20 km) is famous for its ceramics. A whole quartier is completely dedicated to the production of ceramics, with many shops still situated in caves.
