 Restaurant: Our Restaurant offers you a wide choice of local specialities and not just that.... Based on simple and tasteful recipes (e.g. pezzogna in guazzetto = local fish, stewed with tomato sauce), made with 1st quality ingredients, our cousine is meant to meet any kind of Dietary requirements (e.g. Vegetarians, Children Menus), upon request. Adding to this, the breathtaking views on and along the idillyc surroundings (Positano, Capri and its Faraglioni), the "delight" could be complete!
Breakfast: On the open terrace or indoor Panoramic Breakfast Room always with wonderful views, you can have your breakfast until late morning; you can also enjoy your breakfast on the rooms' private terrace.
Banquets & Meetings: Small meetings and conferences can be organised at the Hotel and we can help you in organising weddings, dinners and banquets as well. |
 The Gym: To keep fit, without going too Far….. Tramonto D'Oro offers you, two good options: a) Its well equipped GYM with " Technogym " equipment b) 400 steps to the "GAVITELLA" beach (but of course, you can also arrive to another beach La Praia " in an easier way, using our shuttle service). You can also enjoy a moment of leisure in the Turkish Bath or in the Sauna! |
 Swimming Pool: A large, outdoor Swimming Pool is on the Hotel's roof (Open from May to October, depending on the weather).
Snack Bar: Peppe throughout the summer season will be happy to prepare your drinks, appetizer and light Lunches, by the roof top swimming Pool.... So.... Why not take a lazy Break, out there!

1) Trekking: Along the Lattari Mountains
2) Scuba Diving: "La Boa" Diving Centre is just 3 km far
3) Tennis: Tennis Court approx. 5 km far
4) Excursions: Amalfi, Ravello, Vietri sul Mare, Paestum, Pompei, Ercolano, Positano, Sorrento, Capri and Ischia (in high season ferries directly from Praiano).
5) Concerts hold in Ravello from March till November. Few concerts take place also in Conca dei Marini (10' minutes of driving).
Shopping in the area:
- Positano for its colourful "MODA POSITANO"
- Amalfi for its special cakes "Delizie al limone", the Limoncello liquer and the hand-made paper (it is also possible to follow the paper-making production cycle in a papermill).
- Agerola for the Mozzarella and Provola cheeses. -Vietri sul mare for its artistic ceramics
- Ravello for its wines
- Tramonti for its skilled basquets makers
In general: the hotel Tramonto D’Oro is in the center of Praiano were you can find Pharmacy, post office, shops, florist,restaurants and a bancomat service (the nearest bank is in Amalfi or in Positano). In high season most of the shops are open on Sunday. |
