Welcome to the country estate of the marquises Doria Lamba at our guests disposal we have bicycles, heated swimming pool, tennis court and coach trips. A very big Piedmontese park opens out in front of the villa: a flat, solar and happy lawn bordered by small woods composed by groups of ancient trees: Ashes, Maples, Planes, Pines of Austria, Scots Pines, Thuja, Magnolias, Limes, Liriodendri, bald Cypresses, Hornbeams, Hollies and beautiful and strong Oaks.

The prussian gardener Xavier Kurten was the author of it; he was gardener of the royal dynasty and author of the big park of the royal castle of Racconigi and Pollenzo. The park of the Tower that is extended for over 20 hectares is the greatest of the private parks planned by Kurten and after 175 years we can admire the project of its design (dated March 25th 1835) and the enchanting result. The big oaks in the plain and the enormous bald Cypresses on the shores of the lake are certainly the anchor points of this elegant romantic park. A small house, the one of the gamekeeper, closes the most distant angle of it, while a rare Ha-Ha let the sight to continue as far as the eye can see, replacing itself to the closings.

An icehouse and an artificial hillock are the typical elements of that age.The gorgeous collection of Hydrangeas of the hatchery of Anna Peyron must be mentioned. A happy family of geese has found its place on the lake, and a small flock of calm and dignified rare sheep of Holland trim day after day the grass. The park of the Tower is enumerated among the great Italian gardens, an association that gathers, among the others the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto, the gardens of Villa d'Este, of the triestine castle of Miramare, of Ninfa and of the Quirinale.
