 The Resort Le Torri di Bagnara is made up of Medieval Historical Buildings: The Tower (12th century - Apartments), and Saint Quirico Abbey (11th century - Relais de Charme B&B with Double Rooms & Jr.Suites). It features also a large panoramic swimming pool (120 sqm), located in a broad lawn with flowers, cherry and olive trees.
Saint Quirico Abbey Relais de Charme B&B
The Abbey has been restructured in 2005; it consists of Church, octagonal Belltower, Sacristy and Parish House; in the middle there is a large stone paved court, with an ancient well in the middle. It contains luxury 4 Double Rooms and 3 Jr.Suites (one sleeps 3, two sleep 2), receptions, meeting rooms, panoramic terrace, breakfast rooms. It has an outside lightning with ancient streetlamps lined with forged iron, and parking areas.
The luxurious bedrooms are all different and elegantly furnished with antique 19th furnishing; they are equipped with air conditioning, heating, ensuite bathrooms with tub+shower (some with hydromassage tub), telephone, PC modem plug, frigobar, hair-drier, coloured sat TV. Each Jr.Suite feature entrance, closet, 1 double bedroom, large bathroom.
In the central body (Parish House) are three double rooms and two Jr suites with the windows that overlook the gardens, the swimming-pool and the Tevere valley. They are positined in two floors, the ground mezzanine floor and the first floor. |
 * Primrose (Double room): it is on the ground mezzanine floor and has two windows that overlook the Tevere valley, the swimming-pool garden. It has a double bed, on the side of which, in the wall, there is an ancient medieval stone loophole through which one can see the garden. The bathroom has all the services, bathtub, telephone-style handheld shower, soffione shower, hairdryer. The ceilings of the room and the bathroom are wooden-beam ones.
* Periwinkle (Jr.Suite): it's located on the ground mezzanine floor and consists of entrance, large wardrobe, spacious bathroom and bedroom. In the bedroom there is a tester double bed, and two windows that overlook the Tevere valley and the garden; in the wall of room there is also an ancient medieval stone arch formerly used for entering by horse, through which one an see the garden and the valley. The bathroom is large and equipped with all the services; in particular, it has a large bathtub wholly realised with white marble, fitted in an ancient medieval white stone arch. The ceilings of the bedroom and the bathroom are wooden-beam ones.
* Tulip (Double room): it's located on the first floor and has two windows that overlook the inside court, the gardens and the swimming-pool. It has a double bed or two single beds. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with all the services, including hydromassagge bathtub, telephone-style handheld shower, soffione shower, hairdryer.
* Peony (Jr.Suite): it's located on the first floor and consists of entrance, wardrobe, large bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed, and two windows that overlook the Tevere valley, the garden and the Church. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with all the services, including hydromassagge bathtub and shower, hairdryer.
* Geranium (Double room): it's located on the first floor and has two windows that overlook the valley, the gardens and the swimming-pool. It has a double bed. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with all the services including bathtub, telephone-style handheld shower, soffione shower, hairdryer. |
 On the first floor of the Sacristy are a Double room and a Jr suite; they have independent entrance and for this reason are suitable for a family or a group of four people. They're located on the first floor, the windows overlook the court and the swimming-pool, and one can enter through an external stone staircase:
* 7 Flowers (Jr.Suite): it's located on the first floor of the Sacristy and consists of entrance, wardrobe, bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has Queen size double bed and two windows that overlook the court, the swimming-pool garden and the Tower. The bathroom is equipped with all the services including bathtub, telephone-style handheld shower, soffione shower, hairdryer. The ceilings of the bedroom and the bathroom are wooden-beam ones.
* Myosotis (Double room): it's located on the first floor of the Sacristy. It has a double bed or two single beds and two windows that overlook the court and the swimming-pool garden. The bathroom is equipped with all the services including bathtub, telephone-style handheld shower, soffione shower, hairdryer. The ceilings of the bedroom and the bathroom are wooden-beam ones.
There is breakfast service a buffet (huge, such as a brunch), from 8 to 11 am and bar service, available to Apartments' Guests also. |
 The Tower Residence
In the past it was used as a watch-tower, in defence of the neighbouring Pieve Saint Quirico Abbey and Castello della Pieve castle): features 4 exclusive apartments (with 2, 4 & 5 beds) + one additional single room with bathroom to be rented in addition to any apartment. Guests have at their disposal a large terraced garden (1.000 sqm) with olive and fig trees, broom and lavender bushes, common living room with a panoramic terrace, common laundry, and covered parking. It has an outside lightning with ancient streetlamps lined with forged iron.
Apartments are named The Joker (sleeps 2), The Lady (sleeps 4), The Knight (sleeps 4) and The Vassal (sleeps 5); they differ one from each other but are all very elegant and have a wonderful view over the Tiber Valley, the gardens and the surrounding woods. They feature coloured sat. TV, 17th & 19th century antiques furnishings, terracotta floors, working fireplace; each apartment has full kitchen with dishwasher, hair-drier, towels, bed and household linen, pool towels, an independent heating system, and GSM mobile telephone; all beds have bed base with beech wood laminated slats. The owner has also provided cutlery, crockery, glassware, cooking utensil. You may find stone barrelt vault ceilings with frescoes, arched Romanesque windows and old arches. |
