We stayed with friends who had checked in a night earlier.
We had planned to eat at the hotel restaurant but our friends had eaten there the previous night and said it was the worst meal they had ever had in Italy.
We drove to Gualdo Taldino and ate there.
Spoiled the stay for us.

Lovely setting.
Overpriced.
Really catering for the 'conference' clientel, so avoid if you are going there for a private visit.

This is a soul-full oasis in the low mountains of Umbria! We went jogging in the mornings on their exercise trails and enjoyed the restaurant in the evenings. The staff were very pleasant and pleased to help out. Highly recommend it!
