By Plane/Boat
You can reach Ischia Island by all sorts of boats coming from the coasts of Naples: there are ferries and hydrofoils sailing from the main port, Molo Beverello, as well as from Mergellina port and Pozzuoli port (they all take between 45 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes to reach the archipelago). The airport at Naples, Capodichino, welcomes flights from all over the world -including main cities in Europe like Amsterdam, Munich and Madrid- on a regular basis. It is placed 15 kilometres from the main port of the city, Molo Beverello.
By Car
If your plane lands in Naples airport and you need to reach port Molo Beverello, it will take your around 20 minutes. As you leave the terminal, turn right into Prolungamento Pasquale Borrelli, go along Prima Traversa Via Giovanno Pascoli and veer right into SP193. Afterwards, take your left at Via Casolia 301 and continue along Via Circumvallazione Esterna di Napoli. After passing Casoria, drive along Ramo H39 and highway A1/E45 direction "A3/Salerno" and "Napoli". Continue along A3/E45 and get off at the exit indicating "Porto" and "Centro/ Porto". The main port in Ischia Island is the one at Ischia -4 km from the property. From this point, go along Piazzale Agostino Lauro, take and veer right into Via Baldassarre Cossa. Continue along Via Salvatore Girardi, by now you will be out of Ischia already, turn left in Via Cumana and go along Via Don Luigi Orione. Afterwards, take your right at Corso Vittorio Emanuelle, continue along Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and veer right into Piazza Bagni (10 minutes).
If you arrive in Casamicciola Terme port with your car or rent one there, the distance up to the hotel is of 1,5 kilometres: just go along Piazza Marina and Corso Luigi Manzi, turn right in Via Monte della Misericordia and once again in Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi. You will come across Piazza Bagni immediately (5 minutes).
By Train
The best way to reach the property in case you do not rent a car is to take a taxi at Naples airport, reach Mole Beverello port, and then get on an hydrofoil to the ports of Casamicciola or Ischia. Once in the island you may either take the shuttle service provided by the hotel or, in case you arrive in Casamicciola`s port, walk to the property. |
