Matthew and of the Holy Rosary), l'Anfiteatro Flavio (The Flavio Amphitheatre), Palazzo del Governo (Palace of the Government), now seat of the Administration of the Province of Lecce (names have been given in their original forms, as well as in a translated one). In these Baroque-style Churches there are many bas-reliefs, made of a particulary soft local stone known as "tufo". |

By car:
On the Motor way A14 Bologna-Bari, exit Bari north direction Brindisi-Lecce; before arriving to Lecce enter the west by-pass (tangenziale ovest). Take the national road SS 101 direction Gallipoli and follow the national road SS 274 in the direction of Santa Maria of Leuca, take the exit Presicce-Lido Marini, follow Lido Marini for 5 km;
By plane:
From Brindisi airport (circa 90km.), take a ride until Lecce train station circa 55km. Shuttle is available from airport to the train station, payment required on booking. It is possible to hire a car through Specolizzi farm. |
