 With its great location in a hill between Montefalco and Trevi, the Residence is very near to many attractions of the area. The city of Assisi is at 20 km from the property and worth a visit.
The churches of Montefalco are good examples of the Umbrian paintings. Don't miss the church of Santa Chiara or the church of San Agostino. The church of San Francesco is now a museum with gorgeous frescos. You could also walk around contemplating the buildings inside the town walls and the Town Hall from the 13th century. In the village you will find some cozy restaurants and cafes. Don't forget to try the typical Sagrantino of Montefalco wine. |
