When we were delayed in Paris we were advised they would have a cold meal ready. Instead we were only offered to go straight to dinner, this was declined

No air conditioning meant we had to sleep with windows open. Very very noisy location. Waste collection every morning at 7.15am.

Half board basis is very very bad value. Limited choice, poor wine list. I would have paid more for a la carte. We only dined on four of seven nights (paid for seven).I will never book half board again and would never recommend any hotel that only provided this service.

Very helpful and kind receptionist. Showed us to the room in the annex.

Ideal location. Really nice place. We were given a code instead of a key to enter the building. Perfect for a family of five sharing one family room, never having to discuss who to carry the key.

Beautiful little town. The hotel is located 100 m from the beach in a charming shopping street. Very good breakfast and nice, charming staff.

The only dissapointment was the meal. It had been built up to me not through you but an older Karen Brown book, and I found the meal (Just OK at best) . Having spent six weeks in Italy, it was not one of the places I would stay at again. Food is very important to us.

The woman who welcomed us was sweet and effecient. The only problem we encountered was that the place to leave the car while we checked in was not clearly marked and we ended up blocking traffic.

We absolutely loved the Hotel Stella Maris. The accomodations were VERY clean and the staff friendly. The food was OUTSTANDING as well as the service. We enjoyed each meal thoroughly.

We were surprised by having to walk up one flight of stairs with our luggage to get to the office, but we got used to that climb during our stay. Not a problem.

We really didn't use your web site. We actually picked the Hotel Stella Maris from Karen Brown's book on Italy, and asked our travel agent to make the arrangements. We were very pleasantly pleased with the dining room manager/jack of all trades, David(e). He was fantastic!!

You may or may not want to mention the walk up of one floor to the office - maybe suggest those arriving to leave their luggage on the ground floor. The help would most certainly assist with taking the luggage to the room.
It was a delightful stay. We'd stay there again in a minute.

Friendly, quiet, well located in town. Good food.
And we really liked the town of Levanto. We always looked forward to getting back to it after our hectic days on the Cinque Terre.

having arrived at the railway station, we depended on the town map displayed at the railway station to orientate ourselves to the town in order to follow your printed directions. without this map of the town we would have found it very difficult to use the directions you provided.

Initially we had some concern about the quality of accommodation available in the hotel annexe, however, we loved the fact that the annexe was close to the town square, with easy access to the park, the beach, the grocery shop, laundrette and wine bar.
On occasion there was some noise in the vicinity of the park which others might have found annoying, but we did not find excessive and we were still able to sleep.
unfortunately the internet connection was not working which was very disappointing.

proximity to the grocery shop and a nearby laundrette was a real plus for us. I have special dietary needs and I was able to locate both fresh and packaged foods that I was able to eat which made catering so much easier.

Set opposite the park, we could be part of the local community and enjoy a drink at the local wine bar,which helped to create a really relaxed experience for us. Our room was very comfortable, and part of a building with some beautiful architectural features.
