By plane/ boat: The airport placed closer to the property is the one at Naples, located in the district of Capodichino: this terminal welcomes flights from all over the world -including main cities in Europe like Amsterdam, Munich and Madrid- and is around 50 kms from Piano di Sorrento. You can also reach Sorrento by hydrofoil from the port in Naples -the city is located 48 kilometres from the property-, and then a bus to Piano di Sorrento.
By car: If your plane lands in Naples airport, you will have to drive 51 kilometres to the Stella Marina Resort -this will take you an hour, approx.-. As you leave the terminal, turn right in Prolungamento Pasquale Borrelli and continue along Prima Traversa Via Giovanni Pascoli. Veer right into road SP193 before taking your left at Via Casoria 301. Drive onto motorway A1/E45 heading towards "A3/ Salerno" and get off at the exit "A3/ SALERNO/ REGGIO CALABRIA/ PENISOLA SORRENTINA/ COSTIERA AMALFITANA". As you approach Napoli, continue along E45 and then get on A3/E45 in the direction "Salerno". After leaving the towns of Portici, Ercolano and Torre del Greco behind, take the exit signalled as "Castellammare di Stabia". Afterwards, drive onto road SS145 towards "Castellammare di Stabia/ Sorrento" and stay on it for around 49 kilometres before reaching Piano di Sorrento. Once here, turn right in Via San Michele, continue along Via Francesco Ciampa and take your left in Via Ripa di Cassano, where you will find the apartment on number 12.
By train: At the station in Naples the Circumvesuviana railway service (direction Sorrento) reaches Piano di Sorrento in 55 minutes approx. The station is placed only 500 metres from Stella Marina Resort, and the owner of the property picks you up to take you to the apartment. If you are coming from the port of Sorrento, get on the buses reaching Piano di Sorrento`s train station in 30 minutes. Finally, from Naples airport there are private buses getting to Sorrento in around 2 hours. |
