 HOTEL SPLENDIDO
Hotel Splendido offers 65 guest rooms and suites, most with balconies and terraces with a breathtaking views over Portofino's bay. All rooms are elegant and comfortable with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, colour Satellite TV, DVD and internet access and hairdryer. Most rooms are equipped with individual safes and additional safe deposit boxes are available at the Reception.
Standard Rooms: Tastefully appointed in sober pastel colours and delicately decorated, the standard rooms overlook the gardens. Bathrooms are equipped with a single vanity, heated towel-rails, scales and a fine assortment of toiletries. Some of the single rooms do not afford significant views, though they are well appointed and feature the amenities common to all other rooms. |
 Sea View Rooms: Tastefully appointed in sober pastel colours and delicately decorated these sea view rooms are larger and more comfortable than the standard, they afford a spectacular sea-view. Bathrooms are equipped with a single vanity (some with double vanities), heated towel-rails, scales and a fine assortment of toiletries.
Sea View Rooms with a Balcony: Our most spacious rooms, beautifully decorated in delicate pastel colours that complement the breathtaking view of the Bay and the glittering Mediterranean below. Some of these rooms are decorated with magical fresco paintings of scenes from around Portofino by local artists. A number of these rooms can accommodate an extra bed. |
 Superior Junior Suites: Charming, well furnished and spacious, these Junior Suites offer guaranteed sea-view (except one), most with a large balcony or terrace and some with windows. All bathrooms feature double vanities, separate privies and walk-in showers and always a bath-tub. Some offer a spacious walk-in wardrobe.
Deluxe Junior Suites: All these Junior Suites command a breath-taking view of the Gulf and the harbour of Portofino from either balconies or terraces. Some offer two terraces equipped with sun-beds, table and chairs.
Executive Junior Suites: Recently restructured and refurbished, these rooms are large and comfortable, furnished with king size or twin beds. Tastefully appointed and well equipped, the Junior Suites have large bathrooms, most with separate shower and double basin. |
 Deluxe Suites: Cosset yourself in these luxurious suites. Immaculately decorated, these large and beautifully appointed deluxe suites offer every creature comfort. Bedrooms are large and well appointed in the same colour scheme as the sitting room and often feature walk-in dressing rooms.
Exclusive Suites: Recently restructured and refurbished, these are the largest and most dramatically situated suites at the Hotel Splendido, with astonishing views and magnificent terraces overlooking Portofino's Cove and the Tigullio. Each is tastefully decorated in Mediterranean colour schemes and finely furnished with comfortable sofas and king size or twin beds.
Presidential Suite: Unique. Recently restructured and refurbished with three magnificent spacious terraces overlooking Portofino's cove and Tigullio. Charming, well furnished, tastefully appointed in delicate pastel colours that complement the breathtaking view of the Bay. Very large bathroom well appointed with a bath-tub, separate shower cubicle, double vanities and armoires. Equipped with king size or twin beds, all comforts, fax and PC connections, it has a separate living room. It may be connected to a Junior Suite Executive to make a magnificent Two Bedroom Suite. |
 HOTEL SPLENDIDO MARE
Set in the heart of Portofino, overlooking the Piazzetta and small harbour, Hotel Splendido Mare offers 16 rooms and suites, most with a balcony or terrace. All rooms are elegant and comfortable with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, mini-bar, colour Satellite TV and hairdryer. Most rooms are equipped with individual safes and additional safe deposit boxes are available at the Reception.
Double Rooms: Delicately furnished and decorated in light mediterranean pastel colours these rooms are spacious and airy. Some have views facing the sea and harbour while others enjoy a village view from windows, balcony or terrace.
Junior Suites: These Junior Suites measure from 32 to 40 square metres and mostly offer a terrace or balcony overlooking the Piazzetta and harbour. The decor and colour scheme are in sunny Mediterranean shades, and are very restful. King size beds, sofas and armchairs assure the utmost comfort. |
 The Ava Gardner Suite: Stretching along the whole top floor this suite offers the largest terrace available in the Hotel with an incomparable view of the harbour, promontory and castle, fully visible from the bed and the sitting room. The 56 sq. mt. (170 sq. ft.) terrace is adorned by a huge potted lemon tree and hanging flowering Mediterranean plants of all kinds. The bedroom is large and incredibly well lit from two windows which highlight the soft pastel tones of the walls, fabrics and furniture. A large door connects to the sitting room, sober and very solar, thanks to an almost wall-to-wall glass window which, when open, gives the sitting room and terrace a feeling of just one large space, half indoor and half outdoor.
Suite: With wonderful views overlooking the bustling harbour of Portofino and towards Brown Castle and the Piazzetta this suite offers both a balcony and terrace in the sitting room, and is arranged on different levels. Tastefully decorated in sunny Mediterranean colours this suite is the most charming home from which to enjoy the delights of Portofino. |
