The WEB site understates the quality of this excellent Hotel which should carry a 5 Star rating.The staff were very polite and discreetly attentive. This is an exceptional Hotel in every respect.
(More suited to couples.Probably not suitable for children/teens because of it's out of town location).

Our arrival was very well organized, and having been on a flight all night, it was very much appreciated. We were barely out of the taxi,and someone was there to look after our luggage and the receptionist was welcoming.

The property and its location was just wonderful! The pictures of the actual room and the outside of the hotel on the website don't really do it justice...it looks sort of plain on the site, but was much nicer. The sea view was spectacular. The shuttle service to Sorrento was exceptional. There was never a time when we were inconvenienced by the schedule. The drivers weren't overly friendly, but that could've been a language barrier. I think being a few minutes from town meant less noise and a better night's sleep. Also, the inclusive breakfast was much more than expected. I was expecting a continental type, and was pleasantly surprised with a hot and cold buffet and the selection was plentiful. The entire staff were always very kind and helpful, and there was never a time when we didn't feel welcome.

I think I covered this in my earlier comment. I would add that the hotel would not necessarily cater to a younger age group. Most of the guests during our stay were over 55. Also, dinners at the hotel were quite expensive (taking into account the exchange) so we ate in Sorrento most nights.

All went very quickly and we were allowed to check in earlier than we expected.

We would have preferred later hours at the pool and more frequent bus service to town, but the hotel was very nice.

There was live music in the lobby which we enjoyed.
The hotel facilities are quite large given the small number of rooms -- only 40.
The shuttle to town is very infrequent.
There is no way someone can walk to town as I've read on the web site. It is quite far.

The guest has left no specific comment, however has rated the overall satisfaction rate with a 87% score, his arival experience with a 83% value and his check-out with a 78% rate. |
