Everywhere was exceptionally clean which made one feel very comfortable. The two head waiters from the dining room were very kind and helpfull, they made sure that everything was to ones satisfaction without being intrusive. having ones breakfast served on your own balcony was a treat.

We had e-mailed to say that our flight had been retimed and we would be too late for dinner. They were expecting us and had arranged for us to get a snack at the bar.

As we had a late flight home, we were allowed to keep the room beyond the normal check-out time, at no extra charge.

The only negative thing for us about the hotel was the music played round the pool. We would have preferred it to have been quiet, which the rest of the hotel was, much to our appreciation.

It might be a good idea to make it clearer in your booking information that no deposit is required and that full payment is made on departure. Had forgotten this!

Not sure if you include the arrangements with Hotel del Levante - free mini-bus and use of their beach facilities. This was a great additional extra.

Spacious and cool, with lovely gardens. In a pleasant little village, with beautiful views. Very clean and well-cared for, with a friendly, informal atmosphere. Enjoyed by families, couples and young and elderly people alike. A splendid pool in a pleasing setting. Excellent meals in a spacious and attractive dining room. We'd definitely return!

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Sierra Silvana. The staff were extremely helpful, particularly in transporting us to and from the beach. The pool area was excellent and the location of the hotel was very peaceful.

The first room that was assigned to us was disappointing - ground floor, no view, dark. We pointed this out and we were quickly assigned to a better room without any problem.

The website pictures were euphoric.The dining room in use was not the one pictured - that's used for receptions, etc. The dining room for guests is more like a function room - bright lighting. Fairly typical in 4 star Italian hotels. Some guests were concerned but we didn't mind. The food and service were very good.

There are no beach towels available (except to purchase at a very expensive price). We contacted them before our arrival so we packed our own. Other guests were disappointed that a 4 star hotel did not provide beach/pool towels.

A good hotel, good value for money. The best feature is that it is located in a lovely, posh, residential neighbourhood with wonderful restaurants withing walking distance.
My only negative opinion is that the coffee served in the hotel is of poor quality. Not what one expects in Italy.

I am not sure I found the directions on your website. In the event there was a motor car rally on during the weekend we stayed there and all access roads where blocked in any case.
As usual nowadays there was no one to help with the luggage but we could have been told of the luggage trolleys that are available. In fact of course, our luggage has its own wheels so perhaps the staff assumed there was no need for it.

Being elderly we were rather glad that the hotel was quiet (apart from the roar of the engines of the nearby motot races) and there were no noisy parties in the party pavillion.
It did not apply to us, but could the hotel not make swimming towels available for hire, at a charge.

Yes, it was not made clear on the website that the transfers to and from the coast were only available during the high season. It did not bother us but might others. Also, there is no warning about blocked roads on rally days.

The hotel is a cool green oasis on the hilltops above the scorching coastal plain. It is set in beautifully landscaped gardens where individual accommodation blocks break up the dullness and anonymity of many large hotels. Like them though it provides good facilities like a swimming pool or a good and very well run restaurant.

THE SILVA DI FASANO AREA IS EXCEPTIONALLY CONFUSING TO UNDERSTAND ON FIRST ARRIVAL. IT WAS EXTRAORDINARY THAT THE HOTEL ITSELF HAD NO MORE DETAILED PLAN WHEN SO MANY OF THE ROADS AROUND IT ARE ONE WAY AND DIRECTIONS ARE NOT ALWAYS WELL SIGNPOSTED.

WHAT WAS NOT REALISED WAS THAT THIS KIND OF HOTEL HAS WAVES OF TOUR GROUPS COMING AND GOING - BUSLOADS OF CHILDREN, TOUR COACHES OF ALL KINDS ETC SO THERE WAS LOTS OF NOISE AND ACTIVITY ESPECIALLY, FOR US, AT BREAKFAST. WE THEREFORE AVOIDED ALMOST ALL OTHER MEALS IN THE HOTEL AND WENT ELSEWHERE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER.

The hotel room was not well maintained and it was not properly cleaned. The staff was seldom friendly and we had to ask for every little bit of information regarding our stay and the facilities.

IN SECTION 7 I'VE SAID 'MOST' INSTEAD OF 'ALL' AS ON THE FIRST DAY WE REQUESTED TO GO THE HOTEL DEL LEVANTE BUT THEY SAID THAT THE SHUTTLE BUS ONLY OPERATED FROM JUNE WHICH WAS NOT STATED ON THE WEBSITE. HOWEVER, IT WAS QUICKLY SORTED OUT, THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND ARRANGED TO TAKE US AND PICK US UP WHEN REQUIRED. I HATE TO 'COMPLAIN' AS THE STAY IN SIERRA SILVANA WAS WONDERFUL, BUT PERHAPS IT SHOULD JUST BE MENTIONED IN THE WRITE UP IF THEY DON'T WISH TO OPERATE THE SHUTTLE BUS ALL THE TIME.

FOR US THIS WAS A SHORT BREAK WHERE WE WANTED TO SPEND TIME BY THE SEA, THEREFORE IF THEY HADN'T HAVE BEEN AS ACCOMODATING WE WOULD HAVE BEEN DISAPPOINTED AS WE ORIGINALLY TRIED TO BOOK HOTEL DEL LEVANTE AS IT WAS NEAR TO THE SEA BUT WAS BOOKED UP. We were very late arriving and were greeted with the words 'We have been waiting for you' food was in our room and we felt welcome.
