As you must know, this is a wonderful hotel in a wonderful setting - probably among the top half dozen hotels in Italy. The staff add to its natural assets: they are unfailingly charming and helpful. We had a 13 month old baby with us which might have been seen as a problem elsewhere but here she was made to feel special and so were we.

Classic, beautiful, well maintained, old Villa/hotel on Lake Como with excellent service, but a bit expensive. Ask for a room overlooking the Lake.

Beautiful location, fantastic hotel and great apartments. It was perfect to stay in one of the apartments, but to be able to use the hotel facilities (eg pool), given that we had two young children

The person who checked us was very helpful. We had an early flight and needed to check out at 5:30, the hotel perpared a wonderful continental breakfast and cofee for us before we left.

Apartment was only adequate for two adults.It is inconceivable that four 'kids ' could cram into such a small space as well.Only four chairs and place settings were available.
The bed in the bedroom was excellent.

This is our 3rd stay at the hotel, and we enjoyed it greatly, only wishing we had stayed longer.

Arriving at this wonderful hotel was absolutley the hightlight of our entire trip to Italy!

The reason I say 'good value' is that this is an extremely expensive hotel but worth the experience if you can afford it. I would love to stay here the next time I come to Bellagio.

You may want to include a few more photos of the lake from the hotel rooms as the views were worth the price of admission. Our suite had views of the lake both to the North and the West, stunning!

You 'must' stay here if coming to Lake Como. This is the most beautiful spot in the world and this is the Grandest of all hotels, so 'treat' yourself!

Room not ready, we arrived after 14.00, told to change in Toilets and use pool while room was made ready.

room very dark and sparce, expected better. No literature in the room regarding surrounding area, difficult to get any information on what places to visit from anyone in the Hotel. There were no reductions for Children in any of the restaurants including breakfast. Overall the Hotel was beautiful but was disappointed in the room quality and the attitude to providing information

Our room was on the second floor. Apparently the help's quarters were above ours and the room was very noisy at 1:30 AM. It sounded as though they were moving furniture above us as well as listening to a very loud radio! We complained twice and finally the noise ceased. The following night at 11:00PM the noise began. My husband went down to the front desk to complain and the manager actually ran to see what the problem was! We were satisfied with his response and LOVED the hotel but when we return we will ask for a 'quiet' room!

The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately my mother broke her knee cap while in Bellagio and the staff helped us find alternate transportation based on her condition. We would definitely return!

If you arive by car :-
As the streets of Bellagio are lined with tourist shops and are very narrow the fact that you need to drive through them, and the tourists, with great care should perhaps be advised.

Should state that you need to take a bus or taxi from train station in Como to the ferry, or can take a bus or taxi to Bellagio from train station. I was able to obtain this information at train station, but not explicit from online information.

We had requested a room with lake view and got a room with a wonderful private terrace with an outstanding view of lake Como. While a luxury room we had requested was not available the standard room had furniture that was a little 'tired' and outdated, but the room itself and the bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable.

The reservations for dinner we had made directly with the hotel had not been recorded. But at the end we got a fairly nice table on the terrace as requested. The restaurant itself had a fairly limited menue and was slightly overpriced - but it was a pleasurable experience.

Prompt valet service for our car and - big surprise compared to the hotels we had stayed in before Como (the Villa Medici in Florence and the Cavalieri Hilton in Rome)no parking charges!

The hotel serbelloni is a beautiful hotel in
a stunning location - however our visit was
spoiled by a visit to the pool restaurant,
whe we booked a table for 8.30pm and walked
out of the restaurant at 10pm having had no
food at all. It took 40 minutes for them to
take the order during which time we had a
bottle of water!!! I don't know why I waited
1 and a half hours without service in a 5 * star hotel, I was far too patient - we ended up with food from room service at 10.40pm

The hotel arranged for private car to take us to Malpensa. The driver was suppose to be at the hotel at 7 AM. The driver arrived at 7:30 and had a confirmation for 7:30. I checked with hotel two times the day before to confirm our pick up at 7 AM. It was a very stressful trip and we almost missed our flight. John Bellinger

The Strauss Concerto were incredible. The violinist was the best! We sat and listen to the group every night. Definietly the highlight of the hotel.

Bellagio - the location is one of the best in the area and it's proximity to the Villa Melzi gardens and the Sebelloni gardens is excellent.Near to Sylvio's great restaurant and to LaPunta - both excellent .

The Serbelloni is a wonderful hotel and we had a very nice stay. The only problems were a long wait at the check in and a lack of variety in food when we ate in the downstairs restaurant. The menu was not changed over the three evening we stayed.

Did not match a 5 star experience at other hotels. No competition in town to make the hotel keep up standards. Would not return until another 5 star hotel opened. Not enough to do. Town poorly kept compared with Sirmione, Lake Garda. Poor restaurants in town. Some people not friendly.
