Beautifully renovated place, wonderful grounds and pool and restaurants. Interesting towns to visit nearby. Very relaxing.

The staff were not at all what we expected. Our expectations were that the staff and ambience would be friendly, warm, open and casual, but the staff here were far too formal and cold to the point of being stand-offish which we didn't find welcoming at all.

The venue is delightful with beautiful views over the vineyards. The buildings are lovely with a great presence. Our room was okay with average furnishings.
The restaurant however was terrible. The food was disgusting and even though staff were happy to exchange a meal to something else on the menu (as they were inedible), this was worse and neither my partner or myself could eat our meals. I would recommend that visitors to Relais Santa Anastasia eat elsewhere to save disappointment (else Relais Santa Anastasia should consider changing their restaurant to something more regional Sicilian which would be wonderful)
The breakfast was good with friendly helpful staff ready to make a fresh espresso.
The reviews and descriptions we read from the website about the restaurant were very good which made the experience even more disapointing.

I would describe Relais Santa Anastasia as a wonderful retreat to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside of Sicily.
I would caution that the staff are somewhat stuffy and that the restaurant should be avoided at all costs.
