As far as the staff were concerned all was very good. But I found the directions all right until I arrived at the final metro station. Then I had no idea which direction to go.

A very friendly informal atmostphere with very helpful staff. All of the reception staff were friendly, informative and spoke good English.

rooms clean and private but not spacious (single) and quiet (lot of noise of the avenue and rooms besides (thin walls). bathrooms very much uncomfortable.

This was not the fault of the staff. However, room was not 'quiet', and rooms were not 'soundproofed' as claimed on website.
If you wish to take noisy students, and turn your hotel into a 'Youth Hostel', then you should charge 'Youth Hostel' prices.

The only problem we encountered was that the door would not lock properly without some difficulty. The desk clerk came up and helped us, and told us that they would be making the repair.
The breakfast served was very good.

It should probably be noted that the bathrooms with showers only, are tiny! The first room we had on May 30th, had a bath and shower, which was fine. When we returned on June 19th, we only had a shower in the miniscule bathroom. We would probably have opted to pay more to have a larger bathroom!

The rooms are functional, the beds good, the rooms quiet and the breakfast is great. The hotel does not have a lot of charm, but it is convenient to the Metro and served our purposes well.
