Santa Chiara Grand Suite is strategically situated in the heart of Naples. As you can see, most of Neapolitan sites of touristic interest are a few minutes away. Right in front of Santa Chiara Grand Suite is Palazzo Reale, once house of neapolitan kings and currently a museum and a library. Right beside it is 'Teatro di San Carlo' one of the most important opera theaters in Italy. Just restored!  Across the street of Teatro San Carlo don't miss a walk through the beautiful Galleria Umberto I and check out some elegant stores. Leaving Galleria Umberto I, stroll down Via Roma and its shops always full of people and life. Take the Funicolare Centrale (just five minutes from Santa Chiara Grand Suite) and go to the hill of 'Vomero'. From there walk through this neighborhood and visit the superb Certosa di San Martino and Castel San't Elmo. From there you will have a complete view of the city, including of downtown 'Centro Storico' and of Spaccanapoli, the street that separates Naples in two parts. You will also have a glimpse of the modern Centro Direzionale.
You can take a Funicolare di Montesanto to go 'down' reaching a very typical neapolitan aerea: Pignasecca. In ten minutes from there reach Piazza Dante and the historical centre. Visit the street of cribs, San Gregorio Armeno. You can enjoy a nice walk back to Santa Chiara Grand Suite by walking down Via Roma. Don't miss the street of shopping of Via Chiaia (just at the corner of Santa Chiara) that leads to the cheerful Piazza dei Martiri, that bubbles of night life. Follow the breeze to the sea and have a pizza at Borgo Marinari (just 10-15 minutes away from Santa Chiara). From there you can see the seafront up to Mergellina and the beginning of Via Posilippo. Another place of interest is Castel Nuovo (just 10 minutes walking distance) as you go to the port of Molo Beverello, where you can take a hydrofoil up to Capri island or to the less known (but not less interesting) Ischia.
