We were given a very warm welcome by the owner. We had expected the third bedroom to be available at the initial cost, but needed to pay extra to have use of it. But we were still very happy with the level of accommodation.

The villa had a very local feel to it because it was not in the tourist area and we found that very appealing. The villa and area gave a true local feel of Positano. The hosts were very warm, gracious and kind.

We arrived on site to find out MANY travel necessities were not included with our stay such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. This is apparantely common in the area but it would have been helpful to know this ahead of time (as all the stores were closed by the time of our arrival). I would also recommend bringing your own towels as the ones in the place were very flimsy and thin.

Overall the property was lovely but a bit removed from the rest of the town. Staying here as oppossed to down on the beach in Positano seeemed like a more auhtentic experience. You could see and experince more of the local life and there were great views of everything below. The owner of the place was wonderful - very helpful and informative and willing to meet all of our needs.

About the lack of amenities/necessities stated above and condition of the towels.
That you do not automatically get the third bedroom (even though you pay for it, it is only opened and unlocked for parties of 5 or more). There is no on site internet. All the rooms do have a large terrace, but it is the same terrace.
Excellent views overlooking the town of Positano. Area that is somewhat removed from the crowds for a more relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
