By plane: International Abruzzo Airport in Pescara is really near the property, at a distance of 7 kilometres, and is really easy to reach as there are regular connections from Rome and many other cities within Italy and Europe. A shuttle service provided by the hotel (for an extra charge) can take you to and from this terminal. Otherwise, if you cannot find a connection and land in Rome, the Fiumicino terminal is at a distance of 240 kilometres.
By car: You will reach Romantik Sporting Hotel Villa Maria in only 10 minutes from Abruzzo airport. Just go along motorway SS5, turn left into SS16 and you will arrive in Francavilla al Mare. Take Contrada Pretaro street and turn right after you have passed San Silvestro road. The property stands at the end of this track. If you are coming from Rome, take highway A25 and get off at the exit "Chieti". As you reach a ring road, go along the exit "Francavilla al Mare" and drive on to SS16. This journey takes around 2 hours 20 minutes.
By train: From International Abruzzo Airport in Pescara or Pescara Centrale railway station, guests staying at the Romantik Sporting Hotel Villa Maria can ask for a shuttle service that works from April to October between 7.30 am and 8 pm (and requires an extra charge). Otherwise, at the air terminal there are buses reaching the railway station, placed 4 kilometres away from the property: line 2 of the buses network leaves you off at motorway SS16. Meanwhile, trains depart from Rome to Pescara Centrale station on a regular basis, reaching their destiny in 2 hours and a half, approximately. |
