Arrived by bus and walked to the hotel. Quite enjoyed the energetic walk up the hill to reception, so muchthat the folling morning my daughter and Iused the hill for our training routine every day during our stay

Our only disappoint was with the gym/fitness equiptment which is quite old and poorly maintained and dangerous,but we managed to do other activities to keep ourselves in trim

We stayed an extra day but had to change our room to alower grade room but it was OK not as good as the room we had at first but for the exta day it was adequate .Checkout was well organised and we stayedthere all day untill it was time for us to leave . we had a most enjoyable stay at Romantica and intend to return

I believe the gym is included as a facility . As already stated the equipment is old and not in good condition.It should be replaced with better equiptment or removed as it unsafe to use especialy by people not experienced in this activity

For us it was superb , accomodation,food, service and staff were `excellent. Location could not have been better - short walk to buses to go anywhere on the Island and local shops and restraunts,boat trips etc. The various treatments in the thermal pools,the sauna and the very reasonably priced massage and theraputic treatments all made our short vacation most enjoyable We intend to return. I must mention the waiters who worked extremely hard,were always cheerful,made time to chat to us and were very efficient

The web site seemed to assume arrival by car; as this was an island we took buses, taxis and boats. More information (ncluding language)would have made the journey from the airport to hotel less stressful.

The hotel was very clean and all the staff very accomodating, polite and were more than helpful when coping with the language.There was little information about outside visits written in English but the staff were very helpful.
The interior of our suite was clean but rather dark, single beds were pushed together to form doubles (although we asked for singles)and was not quite what we expected.
The dinning experience was a delight.There was an excellent selection of delicious food to choose from, every evening.Compliments to the hard working cheffs.
We both had a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Compared to England the stay was very good value for money because it included an excellent evening meal.

The quality of the room and view were not what we were expecting. The bed was uncomfortable and the walls did not hold out much sound.

This resort spa might not be intended for young people. There were an overwhelming number of German and Italian seniors staying there.

We got the junior swite but were disappointed with the decor of the room.
The floor was damaged and the jacuzzi start-up button wasn't working.

We think the junior swite assigned to us was of a different standard than the one advertised on the web and the one showing on DVD of the hotel. The one advertised had a better decor, was more spacious and seemed to belong to a completly different hotel..
we thought we would be assigned one with the same standard. Also, the Satellite TV didn't work, we only got channels in German and Italian and we had to ask the reception twice to receive at least one channel in English. At the end of the first week they managed to disply BBC world, that was the only channel in English that was available in our room.
Also, in the hotel book and at the reception is stated that the breakfast service is free in the junior swite but upon paying the bill we were charged eur5.50 for each breakfast service.

The thermal baths weren't working on certain days (maybe due to the bad weather) but the baths in other hotels were working. The sauna wasn't working properly, some guests mentioned it to the hotel management but nothing was done about it.
Also, the jim was in very bad conditions.

They should say that the thermal baths are not availble afer a rainy day and that the breakfast service is not included.
also they should make guests aware that the TV is only available in Italian and German and the the jim is basically non-existent.

Definitly overpriced. The same place in Turkey cost us eur35 per night last year in Fethyia on the Oludeniz lagoon.
It's very bad value for money and we will be more careful now when booking places over the internet.
