Very friendly hosts. We came in late at night and were really greated with a great Italian welcome.

One small comment - it would be nice if they could serve fresh rolls for breakfast. While pastry that was provided was good, nothing beats a nice fresh roll, providing this is available there in the morning. Other than that it was a great stay.

Pictures do not describe the beauty of this area. Waking up in the morning and having the Mediterranean right it front of your eyes is something money cannot buy, but a stay a Locando Ripa will. Great place, nicely furnished and great hosts.

We had some trouble finding the Locanda, but a quick phone call to the owner helped to set us straight. He patiently waited for us at the door - at 11 in the evening.

We had a spacious room - both by Italian and US standards, with a large terrace. The terrace had beautiful views onto the sea. Some other rooms have smaller balconies, and an even better view.
In general, the place was very clean and tastefully - even artfully - decorated.
The host's itinerary and restaurant suggestions were helpful as well - but you will need your own map and guidebook.

No surprises at check-out. We also got free breakfast, which was not even mentioned on the reservation form. The breakfast was great - and among other things included a slice of fresh (home-made?) cake.

Some more detailed directions for the last few km (or a map of the surrounding roads) would also help.

Beautiful situation, artful decor and a great value. Car is a must, as is the stomach to drive the twisty roads. But then most major sights are close by, as are some hidden, special and unique places.
