By plane: Among the nearest airports to the Aritz Garni, you can choose the one at Innsbruck (144 kilometres), Valerio Catullo in Verona (around 180 km) and Marco Polo in Venice (210 km). Nevertheless, the ideal option would be to get a connection to the closer Bolzano (around 40 km) and Trento (100 km).
By car: There are two ways to reach Val di Fassa. If you are coming from Bolzano, other cities more to the south in Italy or even Austria, you must take the A22 motorway and get off Egna/Ora. From there you will have around 60 kilometres to reach the inn: you will be driving along the SS48 route, and after the towns of Moena, Soraga and Mazzin you will come to Campitello. Here, just turn right at Via Pent de Sera and follow this track as it turns, a bit before the River Torrente Avisio, till you see the hotel.
There is an alternative way, which is a bit hard for amateur drivers, especially in winter season: drive in the direction Bolzano Nord, passing the Val d`Ega, and the lodging will be at a distance of 48 kilometres.
By train: Buses from Trento and Bolzano arrive in Campitello di Fassa regularly, leaving you only 100 metres from the Residence Hotel Aritz Garni. Take into account that you can reach the railway station at Bolzano through all the services belonging to the Intercity and Eurostar lines. However, you should also know that on Saturdays, during the winter season, a transfer service is available for guests arriving at the many villages of Val di Fassa from the airports of Venice, Verona and Brescia (you should book in advance both for arrival and return). |
