 The Residence Schgaguler is known for the quality of its spa treatments, therefore you cannot leave Castelrotto without trying them. They are available for all ages but are not included in the general fee. Among the options, you may choose a skin treatment, from polish and healing to aromatic sessions using oils and herbs as well as acids and fruit enzymes; baths (with healing effects, with peeling effects), manicure, pedicure and depilation, and massages (classic, antistress and with aromatic oils, among others). |
 You may even go eccentric and choose curious treatments such as the "Cleopatra Bath", which promises to renew your skin with a mixture of milk, cream and oils. In addition to this, there are several heat treatments: Finnish and Bio sauna, Roman Steam Bath, Hay Bath, just to get started. If you feel like relaxing in water without feeling hot, the Jacuzzi and the internal swimming pool are available: at the latter, enjoy the area, specially conditioned in aquamarine tones, just as if you were in the bottom of the sea. |
 Once you have tried these lifetime experiences, the Rubin Ristorante awaits you with local specialties. In the morning, a "nutritive" breakfast buffet is served, ideal for a day skiing or hiking around the Dolomites. Home made cakes, marmalades and 45 types of yoghurt are disposed, as well as local cereals and fruit salad. Meanwhile, for dinner the typical knödel is the dish you must not miss during your stay: the farmers from Bolzano created these balls made up of bread, milk, eggs, vegetables and cheese which have become a symbol of the region. Bear in mind that the Rubin Ristorante is also a Wine Bar, therefore you may combine your dishes with exquisite wines.
At the reception desk, which is open till midnight, you may require the baby-sitting service (for an extra cost) and get any information you need on the surroundings. The staff speaks Italian, German, English and French and will be pleased to show you around the common areas of the hotel, from the spa facilities to the fitness room and gym.

 The main attraction in Castelrotto, where the Wellness Residence Schgaguler is placed, is the ski. One of the biggest resorts in the world can be found here, as well as one of the longest circuits: both starters and experts can try this path, which goes from Castelrotto up to almost Venice. On your skies, you will be able to cover 300 kilometres in only an hour.
The Dolomites can also be enjoyed by hiking. The hotel organises 3 or 4 times a week guided trips around these mountains, with no extra charge. And if you still want more sport, try the Golf Club Castelrotto, one of the biggest in the world, with 18 holes and at only 2 minutes from the Residence Schgaguler.
Finally, the delights of the alpine meadow are present in the village of Castelrotto: the hotel is placed right in the centre of it, therefore you will find shops and the historical centre a stone`s throw away. Other quaint villages can be visited in the area: just take the shuttle service which leaves every 10 minutes and hop on and off wherever you like. |
