By Plane:
The nearest civil airports are Bari and Brindisi. Alitalia flies to both from Milan and Rome. Also Ryanair offers economically priced daily flights from London Stansted to both Bari and Brindisi. Moreover, British Airways are now flying direct to Bari from Gatwick. The service runs 3 times a week Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from March until October, then twice a week on Monday and Thursdays in the winter months.
By Train:
The nearest railways station is Fasano. Fasano is a small city on the main train line connecting Bari with the south (Brindisi and Lecce); Eurostar trains do stop at Fasano; on a Eurostar the trip Bari-Fasano takes about 30 minutes, 45 on slower trains; trains are frequent. Moreover, there is a connection Bari central station - Martina Franca by regional trains. A small regional company "Ferrovie Sud Est" (Sud-Est Rail Company) is guaranteed from Bari Central Station to Martina Franca (1.40 hours trip).
By Car:
From A14 (Bologna-Taranto) take exit Bari Sud. Then take the s.s. road Bari-Lecce, proceed in the Brindisi direction and get off at uscita Fasano-Martina (21 km). Proceed in direction to Fasano - Martina Franca. When you arrive in the city you will find all the signals to reach Relais Villa San Martino. |
