 We can serve the breakfast both in the Sala dei Trofei that is a cosy hall with a country appeal, or outside in the garden where you can admire the first morning light reflecting in the lake. At the Relais there is a special place for the guests: The Blue Hall, a pastel coloured library, facing the Lake. In this intimate atmosphere you can read some book or newspaper or play the game of chess. Wi-fi connection is available at the ground floor of the Relais. |
 The Relais has a private, peaceful garden, which is terraced and slopes down to the Lake. It is characterized by the Lover's Corner overlooking the small town, Careno, on the opposite side of the lake and by a a big gazebo in forged iron. The outside terrace is equipped with a swimming pool, a play of steps that descend from the Relais, all allow the guests to stroll to the wooden pier. Free parking is inside the Relais reserved to our guests. |

 The Relais wooden pier it is also the starting point for lake excursions or if you want to go to dinner in one of the romantic restaurants facing the lake. Our guest can discover the landscape by canoes or by bike. At Menaggio, golfers will appreciate a famous golf club, with its natural course (18 holes). The most famous town of this area is Como, noted for its estabilished silk industry and it is ideal for the shopping. Proceeding towards Laglio, there is a picturesque small village, Cernobbio. Trekking's lovers can go for mountain walks along the mule driver winding towards the neighbouring village, Carate. Near our Relais there is the "Balcony of Italy", for its extraordinary view over the Alps, climbing towards the Intelvi Valley up to Sighignola. Crossing several villages like Lenno, where the lake creates a small gulf you can get to Comacina Island reachable by a boat service. Located in Tremezzo, there is Villa Carlotta an elegant Eighteen Century building, immersed in a fascinating garden containing about five hundred species of plants and flowers, where people can appreciate the marble statues by Antonio Canova. Tours of the Villa are possible from spring to autumn, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm. Not far from there, the two banks of Lario are connected by a ferry from Cadenabbia to Bellagio, named the pearl of Como lake. |
