| A few minutes walk from the villa there is a small grocery store, the beach is also close by so you can work on you tan and have a splash around in the water. The beautiful village of Positano gives the impression that it is leaning against the jagged mountain face; it has multicoloured houses, narrow passages and steps as well as quaint shops, bars and restaurants that specialise in sea food. Guests can rent a car a enjoy the spectacular drive around the bendy, twisty roads which offer great views and lead up to a beautiful cathedral located up some steps from the main square, it is the birth place of the man who invented the compass, Flavio Gioia. A trip to the area would not be complete without a guided or non guided tour to the Capri Island, it's surrounded by the Med and offers beautiful coastline with secluded beaches ideal for sun bathing and swimming. |
