Guests can reach the island of Capri by hydrofoil or ferry from Naples or Sorrento. Sailing times vary according to the season. From June to September connections are also available with theAmalficoast and Ischia. The hotel is situated at about a 15 minute walking distance (1km) from the center of Capri (the famous Piazzetta), in the peaceful area of Tragara above the bay of Marina Piccola. |

By plane: From Naples Airport we suggest to take a taxi and reach "Molo Beverello" from where every hour leave hydrofoils and/or ferryboats towards Capri.
From the port: the center of Capri can be reached by taxi (15 minutes) or by funicular railway (3 minutes). To reach the property we suggest to take a taxi.
On request, guests will be greeted on arrival at the port of Capri and their luggage will be transported to the hotel with an extra cost. To reserve the service it is sufficient to contact the hotel with details of departure times from the mainland. The hotel representative can be recognised by the uniformand the wording 'Hotel PuntaTragara' on his hat.
Once they have registered their luggage, guests can continue either by taxi or funicular railway to the center of town, before proceeding by foot to the hotel. Luggage will arriveat the hotel separately. The hotel is pleased to offer guests a transfer service from Naples airport or railway station consisting of private car transfer to the port of Naples, ferry or hydrofoil tickets, and luggage transportation from Naples to the hotel.
Our concierge will be pleased to provide you with all the relevant information or to satisfy any further request you may have concerning your arrival on, or departure from, the island.
Before you set out on your journey, we suggest you request updated ferry and hydrofoil times. If you intend to travel by car you should be aware that there are restrictions concerning the circulation of vehicles on the island from March through to November. A car is, in any case, of limited use on Capri and we strongly advise customers to leave their vehicles on the mainland. |
